We have missed your faces and are excited to announce that we will be live in

Florence, Alabama, for the 2021 Annual Outcomes Conference, August 19-21, at the Marriott

Shoals Conference Center. We plan to offer virtual sessions for those unable to attend in person.

Participants who attend live will receive an additional library of online learning offerings that

you can complete at any time for additional credits. As always, our team has been working hard

to develop the best conference to meet your educational needs. We hope to see you soon in

Florence!

Program Information The format of this learning is a live offering with a virtual option that specifically targets primary care, family medicine and internal medicine physicians; physician assistants and advanced practice clinicians. The focus is to provide the learner with proven treatment options for disease states prevalent in our region. Specialists will address specific gaps and challenges in managing these maladies and discuss the variation of treatments required in properly maintaining the patient’s health specifically in the patient with multiple diagnoses. The learner will be provided content that is supported by evidence-based therapies with some examples of proven outcomes data within the NMHS system. This year’s format will provide lectures from specialists, targeted pharmacology hours and controlled substance/prescribing credits.

Target Audience This activity specifically targets primary care, family medicine and internal medicine physicians, physician assistants and advance practice clinicians.

Faculty Disclosure NMHS Education Department policy states that all speakers and planners of a CE/CME approved activity must disclose to the audience any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest related to the content of their presentation. Faculty are also expected to inform the audience whether or not the presentations will include discussion of an unlabeled or investigational use of a product or device not yet approved by the FDA for the use being presented. All disclosures will be available to the attendees in the activity introduction page which will be accessed prior to the beginning of each activity.

Commercial Support This activity is fully funded by the NMMC CME Program and has not received nor is supported by any commercial support monies.

Program Accreditation Continuing Medical Education (Physician) North Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the Mississippi State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. NMMC designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 20.25 AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Continuing Education (APC) NMMC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
