Requirements: A Wala Wala trace, Red Eye Sardine, knife and latex cotton.

A filleted piece of Red Eye Sardine. Cut a slit into the bait and insert the hook through the skin.

Cut the bait along the spine from the bottom upwards.

Start by binding the foam to the hook.

Hammer a long and narrower piece ofChokka to use as a tentacle.

Tenderize the bait and bind the thinner piece around the hook.

Add various shades of glitter over the bait.

Cut off 2 pieces of Chokka.

CHOKKA BAITSSLIDING A WHOLE CHOKKA


Start by measuring the length of the trace you require. This should be from the eyes to the end of it.

If the trace is tied and measured correctly, it should look like this with hooks facing the same direction.

Using the first hook, piercing the Chokka through the hard shell. Bring out the hook through the head and between the eyes.

Attach the second hook by binding the carbon coated wire around the hook and through the eye of it.

Insert the carbon coated wire trace through the tail end of the Chokka at the point of where the second hook will be.Slide the wire through the back of the bait.

Pull the carbon coasted wire until the hooks sit firmly into place. A toothpickcan also be used to prevent this from moving.

Make a wish bone trace.

Insert the longer hook through the jaw of the Mackerel.

MACKEREL BAITSSLIDING A WHOLE MACKEREL


The length of the trace should be measured from the head of the Mackerel to approx. 3-6cm before the end of it.

Pierce the top hook through the bottom of the mouth and out the nose of the Mackerel.

Shaping the Mackerel allows the bait to bemore aerodynamic and prevents the baitfrom spinning in the water when sliding.

Attach the bottom hook a few millimetres below the belly of the Mackerel.

Tying cotton around the mouth and nylon coated wire at this point of the bait will keepthe Mackerel aligned.

To keep the bottom hook in place, use a toothpick through the eye of the hook and cut it off.

Peel off the outer skin of the Bay Squid.

Bind the high density foam to the hook and insert a toothpick through the eye of the hook.

Cut the Bay Squid down the middle.

Place the inner body of the squid overthe bait and bind.

Octopus tentacle.

Using a bait needle, insert the needle from the back to the front of the bait.

Loop the trace line through the hookof the needle and pull it out the backof the bait.

Peel off the skin from the tentacles.

Add a second hook and polystyrene to the back of the bait and bind.

SAND PRAWNBASIC


Use a hook with the float attachedto it.

Pierce the hook through the hard upper abdomen of the Sand Prawn, curving the hook from the bottomand out the top.

Straighten the Sand Prawn over the hook and onto the trace line. Bind the bait from abdomen to tail.

Add a few more Sand Prawn to the bait by binding them over the hook.The hook must still be prominent.
