VISION

The vision of the Roadmap to Peace (RTP) is for all families to live in peaceful, safe and ourishing neighborhoods where youth can thrive and actively connect and contribute to their community. The purpose of RTP is to develop a holistic and community-based approach to address the unmet needs of Latinx youth and their families in San Francisco.

Our collective eorts incorporate three strategies: creation of an interconnected youth service network, eective community-building, and meaningful policy advocacy. These three overlapping strategies embrace community wisdom to pave a road to wholeness and self-determination. Together, seven core service partners, aliated agencies, and the Mission Peace Collaborative work for a sustainable peace.

COMMUNITY-DEFINED SOLUTIONS

Roadmap to Peace creates and strengthens community-driven solutions to prevent violence. We believe Latinx youth are our biggest assets and resources. Through youth leadership, advocacy training, and culturally rooted strategies, RTP prepares the next generation of leaders to tackle our toughest community challenges. Together, we identify the barriers to youth development, dene creative and cutting edge solutions and advocate for peace and social change.

RTP educates, informs and shares best practices to improve the way systems work with and care for Latina/o youth. Through multiple community partnerships, we are making our voices heard.

RTP works with Latinx youth who:
