Safetygrip has a proven track record and has been usedextensively for bicycle lanes, bus lanes, warning and cautionbanding extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand aswell as USA, Turkey and China.

Safetygrip is developed from recycled glass, using a crushingsystem combined with an attrition and tumbling process toremove sharp edges and shape the glass.

Our coloured glass aggregates such as Safetygrip have aAAA rating environmentally as the glass used is 100%recycled. The use of this product prevents this material fromgoing to landfill and just as importantly reduces aggregatesbeing mined out of the ground.

Saferygrip is completely coated on all sides, the glass is aclear matrix, much like a prism. Added to this the glassactually filters out the U/V to the underlying sides thus addingto the longevity of colour thus adding to colour retention.

Safetygrip/diamarundum has been developed taking roadsafety to a new level.

Safetygrip/diamarundum has excellent durability qualities,superior to calcined Bauxite. Safetygrip has a high polishedfriction value (PAVF 70+ NATA approved and tested )providing excellent skid resistance in both wet and dryweather conditions.

Tests carried out by NATA approved laboratory show thatSafetygrip/diamarundum has a percentage wear factor ofonly 18% after polishing compared to calcine bauxite whichhas a 25% wear factor after polishing.

Safetygrip/diamarundums excellent durability, skidresistance in both wet and dry weather combined withquality demarcation qualities, brightness of colour,reflectivity and superior colour retention provides a highfriction anti-skid surface that is extremely durable andaesthetically pleasing.

It is recommended that Safetygrip and Safetygrip/diamarundum are applied onto a proven or approved binderor binder system that is used for bitumen, asphalt orconcrete roads and pathways.
