1. Research project (36 cp + 12 cp research methods). Successful completion allows direct entry to PhD
2. Work experience (48 cp). We have a large network of employers in the food, medical and Biotech industries. Leads to employment (yes, many companies employ our work experience students on completion)

Entrance requirements
• A degree in science. Some microbiology is preferred (and essential for MC154 and MC156)
• An average of 60 % in the undergraduate degree (may be higher in some international markets)
• IELTS of 6.5, no band lower than 6.0 for international students
