July 10th

Our Patrol Fleet will leave the MRYC dock at 7:00 am to cover all race courses.

Keith Kernan has volunteered to be our on water coordinator. Sharon

Borgatti will be our on land coordinator. The Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing

Association has an exciting day of racing scheduled and volunteers are

always welcome! If you would like to help out in any way, contact Keith or

Sharon.

July 31st

This a great event sponsored by Gosling Rum. MRYC will host an evening

party and awards ceremony after a day of ocean racing. Music, food, and

drinks! Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the party.

MRYC will host a Sunfish Sailboat Series every other Friday night, starting

July 2nd. They are fun races and a great way to get out on the river and enjoy

our club. Dave Mcfadden has volunteered to help organize the Sunfish races.

Volunteers are welcome to help set up and patrol. This is an excellent way to

come out and try your hand at patrol! New members are encouraged to

participate since the racing is slanted to the fun vs serious side of sailing.

Pool Reminders:1) Please remember to help our staff and the environment

by bringing refillable water bottles for the new cooler atthe pool entrance. A pool deck free of plastic cups and

bottles is a happy pool deck.2) Please help keep the pool as clean as possible by usingthe shower installed last year before you go in the pool. If

you come straight from the beach, your child may lookclean, but please rinse the sand from inside their bathing

suit. This goes a long way to help keep the pool free ofsand.

3) The new gate connecting the pool to the bluff is for staffonly!! Don't find yourself in a time out. Avoid the gate.

4) Please remember there is no eating or glass permittedin the pool area.

Happy swimming and Happy summer!
