INDEXVISIONPASTOR’S HEART River City Family,

I am thanking Jesus, and I want to thank you for your generosity in praying, serving and giving. Without a doubt, 2012 was a fantastic year of seeing the kingdom advanced and the name of Jesus lifted up. 63 people took ‘the plunge’ and got baptism this last year, many of them first time decisions to follow Jesus. We had more people involved in Life Groups consistently than coming to our Sunday services. It was exciting to see over 50 groups and 500 plus people connecting during the week, growing together in authentic community. We heard powerful testimonies on Celebration Sunday of just a few of the many stories of life change. People like Cliff and Sharrin, who surrendered their lives to Christ at Easter, took the next step of baptism, plugged into a Life Group, starting growing in their faith. Seeing the change in themselves they recognized that they have a calling to help others the way God has used the people of RCC to help them grow. We also heard from men like Jake, who took years of Godly deposits, fresh victory through prayer, and along with his wife he has turned those investments towards ministering the heart of Jesus to others.

So what is next for RCC? Prayerfully, I believe that for 2013-2014 God has shown me four targets that lead towards the overall vision of “Changing the World for Jesus, One person at a time.” Here they are in their simplest form: 1) Be a Disciple, Make a Disciple 2) Expansion 3) Get Free, Live Free 4) Global Outreach. These simple targets have many things to unpack from them.

There is no doubt that God is calling us all to advance his Kingdom and if he is calling you to be a part of the RCC family, then together we are setting our sights towards theses targets as we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. These next two years are going to be fantastic and I am excited to see God continue to use RCC to make an increasing impact locally, regional and around the world.

Please take the time to look at this Vision document, to pray and seek God with all your heart and ask Him, “God, what is my part? How can I pray, how can I serve, and how can I give? What are you asking me to do with the talents, time, and resources you have given to me?

We love you all very much and consider it a privilege to advance the kingdom with our church family.

WORLD/apostolic prophetBen Goodman

Ben is a minister who travels extensively both nationally and internationally, encouraging, strengthening and equipping various streams of churches with a strong combination of prophetic ministry, teaching, and demonstrations of the power of God. He is affiliated with the following networks of churches: Life Links International, Truebridge Churches, mPact Churches, and NewFrontiers. He spends a great deal of time on mentoring, leadership development, and serving on oversight teams that provide care for a

number of churches.

WORLD/youth with a mission Jerry & Linda Praetzel

Jerry and Linda are international bible teachers and travel the world with their ministry bringing healing and restoration through a proper revelation of the Father Heart of God, confession, and the full receiving of forgiveness. Jerry and Linda live in Montana.

The Thompsons are involved in church planting, bible education, and discipleship in Thailand. The travel internationally doing Church Planting Movement training based on what they are doing in Myanmar. The Lahu Training Center is a four-year Bible School for Lahu Mtn. SonRiz is the Thompsons newest ministry. It is a short term Church Planting/Discipleship Training School based on CPM principles.

The Jensens are taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached and untouched mountainous areas of Asia, where other missionaries cannot or will not go. Their strategy is to continue to build relationships with local leaders and families throughout the mountainous region. Through relationship, “Guan xi” doors are then opened into communities and people lives.

JAPAN/IbfOtto & Pat Schauflee

The Schauflees serve as staff missionaries at International Bible Fellowship, supporting their Japanese pastor, Shoichi Ino. Otto preaches at least once a month and Pat is presently serving on the board, and works with Children’s Ministry. Both of them teach English as a foreign language as an IBF outreach to the surrounding community and have seen several come to the Lord through this avenue. Otto also performs Western-style Christian weddings as a way of being self-supporting.

JAPAN/IbfSteve & Sheila Briethaupt

The Briethaupts were sent out from RCC as missionaries to Japan. They oversee the mission covering forthe wedding Pastors within the HIF of Tokyo and TBN of Kyushu wedding companies; are a part of the pastoral staffat International Bible Fellowship; and are leadership elders at International Bible Fellowship.

Josh just completed his medical training as a Kenyan physician and Rachel is trained as a nurse. Together they have a heart to reach the orphans, widows, and the sick with medical and spiritual healing in the nation of Kenya. They believe God has called them to meet medical needs in order to open up hard-reached people groups to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

ZAMBIA/EBENEZER MINISTRIESRanji & Negendra Chara

Ebenezer Ministries reaches to the downtrodden, destitute, and neglected children in Livingstone. They give them a hand-up, preach the Gospel, lead them to Christ and disciple them. They have an Orphanage with and a Girl’s Home, Toddler Home and Baby Home. They have a farm to help feed the kids. Ebenezer educates and supports all their children in a Primary School running from Grades 0-7 with free school supplies and 2 meals a day to all 323 children. They hope to soon build their own Secondary School and Skills Training Centre.

Dave is responsible to giveleadership and coordinatethe Life Links leadership team whichfunctions to give input tothe network worldwide. Life Links exists to help churches grow and develop, plant new churches, train leaders, introduce churches to the mission field, as wellas encourage and pastor the leaders of the Life Links churches. Dave travels to Life Links churches and networks in various countries including Canada, Southeast Asia, Uganda, the United

States, Zambia, the Marshall Islands, Vietnam, and India.

Ehud and Neiva travel around the world including ministry in Africa, Asia, and North and South America. They do consulting and training in Holistic Mission and Leadership Development; as well as being involved in equipping the Church of Jesus Christ in three main areas: Mission Theology, Intercultural Studies, and Church-based Community Ministries. They will be returning to Brazil in 2013 as resident professors of Integral Mission at Centro Evangélico de Missões, in Viçosa, Minas Gerais.

George gives overall leadership to the ministries of Good News for India, NTC and CEA. NTC is a fully accredited seminary that is serving all Bible believing churches in the Indian continent. CEA focuses on preaching the Gospel and planting churches among un- reached people groups and places in India and Nepal. CEA has planted over 600 churches. They also have several schools and orphanages that serve over 3,000 needy children.

As a long-standing ministry partner with RCC, Sasi and his family have been reaching the lost of Southern India through a church he planted and pastors. In 1999 when they came to Kelakam only few people joined them, now 130 people are church members. They continue to see the growth and salvations and is expanding his network of home groups to rescue those far from God including Hindus and the lower caste.

India Missions / Home Building Trip: Be a part of a team that will fly right into South India and build a home for a family in need, through Fuller Homes Ministries.

LitNet! is a non-profit organization which promotes Christian education and literacy internationally by developing curriculum and teaching materials, organizing and implementing “onsite” training for indigenous Christian school teachers and administrators, and providing tactical support and resources for the development of faith based, educational, and non- profit organizations. Last year Litnet! trained 300 teachers that impacted over 15,000 children.

UGANDA/cornerstone victor’s churchEugene & Florence Nsamba

Cornerstone Victor’s Church is a local church located in an economically depressed area just outside of Kampala. They are reaching the community through programs, projects, and education. They run Hidden Treasure Primary school, an orphan and vulnerable kids program in the community every Saturday, and a day-care center and kindergarten.

They want every adolescent to have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow him. This starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship.

Life ChoicesSpecializes in unplanned or crisis pregnancy solutions to help with FREE quality medical pregnancy tests. Their goal is to provide a safe environment to assist and educate individuals during their unplanned or crisis pregnancy. They exist to give hope for the future, encouragement, and practical support during this critical time in ones life. All services are confidential and free of charge.

River City Church MissoulaStarted June 2008 when several families with a dream moved to Missoula, Montana and started our very first CHURCH PLANT led by Brian and Andrea Moser. We could not be more excited about the impact this church is having. They are now in their own building this year and are running almost 150 people!
