Risk-Sharing Finance Facility – Risk Sharing Instrument (RSFF - RSI)Cooperation: €150 million boost for RSI loan guarantee facility forSMEs / small mid-caps => leveraging €1 billion loans for R&I

• ERA chairs host= institutions demonstrating the ability to support excellence (must provide excellent facilities and comply with ERA principles e.g. open recruitment)

The new generation of microscopic robots – CHOBOTIX (FP7)
• "Intelligent Cleaning" system to remove toxic spill devastating human bodies, animals and ecosystem
• Treatment of patients in a more efficient way: exact amount of a drug to a targeted area of the body
• Finding sources of pollution, identification chemicals or cancerous cells in the human body
• Applications in medicine, agro-chemistry, cosmetics, and consumer chemistry
