Check electrical equipment before shooing. No liquids in the room, and make sure all equipment is handled with care (such as amps and guitars).
Leads/Cables Falling over the cables
Make sure all leads and cables are tucked into the side or covered with tape to minimise risk of trips.
Lighting Heat off lights may cause some damage to equipment or clothing
Keep lights at a reasonable distance from electrical equipment and flammable materials
Street Camera Damage to the camera if dropped
Be careful to ensure that camera is kept in case when not being used and hold steadily when filming outside so it isn’t dropped on concrete
Traffic Cars may cause an obstruction when filming, so there is a risk of an accident when crossing roads
Concentrate when on the roads, don’t film when cars are coming towards us. Film in daylight, as this will help with visibility when outside.
Student House Fire safety hazards such as; rubbish on floors, furniture
In the unlikely case of a fire, having things on the floors
Ensure that the locations of props are clearly marked
blocking escape routes etc
where cast are not aware of them, then it may cause an obstruction
out to cast, and that any unnecessary objects are removed from set.
