Qualification requirements

Certificate IV in Surface Coal Mining (Open Cut Examiner) comprises of 14 units: 9 Core Units and 5 Elective Units, one from group A electives and three from group B electives. Includes 3 operator units, from Group B, as required by the training package guidelines. There is one additional imported unit, relevant to this qualification.
