Precision measurements on cold molecules in a fountain
During my PhD, I developed a method to cool molecules (in Nijmegen). ● As a post-doc, I worked on precision measurements (in London) and on further
developing cooling methods (in Berlin).● My proposal combines these two.● VU has a strong AMO group that works on related problems.
How a successful proposal could look like
During my PhD I worked on A (and did a good job at it). ● As a post-doc I learned B (not at VU, preferably abroad).
● Now I want to do A+B (I was born to do A+B).● VU has a strong group working on c,d and e (but not on A or B).
Final comments
Use as much help as you can to make yourproposal clearer and stronger, but it is your proposal.
