These words appeared on the cover of our Winter Gala—The Gift of Catholic Education event on December 9. It truly was an evening of love.
More than 70 guests joined us for a delicious meal prepared by Catawba Island Club, dessert by Wendy Kromer Confections and musical performances by the Gala Youth Choir directed by Mrs. Jody Nave, and the High School Choir directed by Mr. Matt Hadsell. We finished our evening with the Ave Maria sung beautifully by Mrs. Julie Costello, accompanied by Mr. Tim Claubaugh, Sr.
This very special evening supported our Sandusky Central Catholic School mission of Strengthening the Body, Challenging the Mind and Enriching the Spirit. We were blessed with gifts that will be used to provide the necessary tools students and teachers need to be the best versions of themselves.
We are blessed with staff members that are knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated leaders. With their guidance, we are able to educate our students and build leaders who are confident, service-minded and prepared for life; and, at the same time offer their families a strong value for their investment in Catholic Education.
If you attended our Winter Gala, thank you. In a reflection of love, we raised $80,000 for our ministry and with pledges and additional gifts arriving, we hope to reach our goal of $100,000. We are honored to be one of the largest ministries of Holy Angels, St. Mary’s, and Sts. Peter and Paul Parishes. Together, we will make a difference in the lives of children and the Catholic community.
We are thankful for committee members Mrs. Tracy Guerra, Mrs. Lori Holly, Mr. Geoff Palmer, Mrs. Jodie Palmer, Mrs. Gina Milkie, and Mrs. Heather Stouffer for a year of planning and implementation.

Sts. Peter & Paul Social Concerns 2nd Sunday Collection for the month of January is for Care & Share. Paper products, please take a bag available at all the exits from Church the weekend of January 5th & 6th for your donations. A list of the most needed items is on the bag & all donations are appreciated. Please return the bag to the Gathering Space or center vestibule the following weekend. Thanks for your participation!
Just as a reminder... because of the removal of the pews and the refinishing of the floors at St. Mary's (beginning January 7), we will not have First Friday Adoration or the regular weekly Tuesday adoration at Saint Mary's. These will simply be canceled until the pews are returned.
The Rosary will be prayed 25 minutes before each weekday Mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion Training Sessions

EXTRA BIG THANK YOU !!! Once again we are happy to announce that Holy Angels 28th Annual Christmas Cookie Walk was successful. We are so proud of our great bakers that we have in our parish family. Without YOU there would be NO Cookie Walk. A special THANKS to the men and women who spent time setting up and working the cookie walk. We cannot forget the women who helped with the phone call reminders. The assortment of cookies was excellent. You would not believe some of the great comments we received from our customers. To all of our young adults of the parishes, in order for your parish to better serve your changing needs, such as being a witness/sponsor for a sacrament, preparing for marriage, having a child baptized, being an adult in general, we ask that you please contact one of the parishes to be registered as an adult. It is easy to think that if you grew up in a parish or attended the Catholic school you are automatically registered once you reach adult age, even if you are still living at home. In fact, this process does not happen automatically. By registering on your own, it ensures that we have your current information and helps the parishes to serve you better.
