At 29, Leifheit admits that she hasn’t always been interested in fashion. In fact, her interest was sparked by a love for old black and white movies. From this, she became fascinated with fashion designers and actresses like Edith Head and Audrey Hepburn. Leifheit also states that she began shopping at vintage stores as a college student when that was all she could afford. Leifheit, who began vintage shopping as a college student, is originally from the Midwest. She moved to Atlanta three years ago because she was tired of cold winters and wanted new places to explore. In fact, she easily sums up her blog as an “excuse for day trips and long drives out to old lazy places”. And while she is the first to admit that she is not truly southern, the photos on her blog (taken by her photographer/ boyfriend) are so beautifully done, she seems right at home.
