We at WM Polymers have been in the surfacing business for over 35 years, starting out as an installation company installing many types ofresinous floor systems. We began installing rubbersafety surfaces over 25 years ago and quickly discovered the pit falls and problems with the rubber systems being used at that time. Being formulators of resinous coatings, we immediatelywent to work to create a rubber system which wouldwithstand the harsh outdoor environment. Afteryears of research and development, in 1998 we were proud to introduce the first light stable ThermoPlastic rubber into the industry called Nu-Crete, later changed to Pebble-Flex.We at WM Polymers, through advanced technologiesare now proud to introduce our new, second generation of ThermoPlastic rubber called Flecks®.This state of the art rubber is the only true granulatedThermoPlastic rubber on the market today. TheFlecks® systems consist of Play Flecks® using ourpatented cushion system, Water Flecks® for sprayand water parks and Deck Flecks® for patios and pool decks.The Flecks® systems have been developed towithstand fading, ultra violet (U.V.) degradation and are extremely chlorine resistant. Our Water Flecks® system is comprised of a U.V. resistant Thermo-Plastic rubber mixed with a two-part aliphatic chlorine resistant urethane designed to withstand long-term exposure in chlorinated water.Water Flecks® system is installed as a seamlesssafety rubber system alone over concrete or with our patented EnviroFlecks® system (proprietaryfoam with high energy absorbing qualities) as an underlayment to reduce the risk of injury.
