Receiving Course Assignments

When a course is assigned to you, an automatic email from the C-ID website will be sent to you.

Once you receive a message, you can log into the C-ID website to see your course assignments and begin reviewing courses.

Please note that the automatic email process is still under development so reviewers are encouraged to check back at least every week.

Ideally, CoRs should be reviewed within three weeks. The date is listed on your course assignment list (covered later) and you will receive an email reminder.

Reviewing the Course Assignment Page

The “course outlines you’ve been assigned to review” page provides vital information: The due date of when your reviews must be completed. The status of your assigned courses:

Assigned – you still need to do your individual review. Completed – you completed your individual review. Approved – the FDRG is done with the review for the course

and it was awarded with the requested C-ID designation. Not Approved – the FDRG is done with the review and the

course was not awarded with the requested C-ID designation.

Conditionally Approved – the FDRG is temporarily done with the review; the course must be resubmitted with requested modifications in order to be awarded with the requested C-ID designation.

Resubmit IP – the submitter has addressed concerns raised by the FDRG and resubmitted the course for final review.

After making an overall recommendation and making a final comment when necessary, you can either save the record and return or submit the review. (See next slide for example)

If you are a reviewer, your submission will go to the Primary Reviewer.

Once the primary reviewer is finished, the course will either go public or back to the AO.

Examples for Evaluation Form

Review the Norming and Training Resource Document on pages 6 – 8 for more information on comparing the CoRs against the descriptors and samples of constructive comments.

Page 26: Reviewing Course Outlines for C-ID Designation

Conditionally or Not Approved

If a course has been conditionally or not approved, it will be sent back to the submitter.

The submitter then has to correct any problems you identified and resubmit.

Once resubmitted, you will see on your list “Resubmitted IP”

You would then only be able to review the areas that needed correction and verify that the areas of concerns have been addressed.

You would follow the same process as you initially did in the first review.
