Issues concerning CREMATION Cremation has become very common in the last decades. There are many
reasons that can lead a person, or the family to choose it. While is true
that the Catholic church does not prohibits Cremation, not all who choose it are allowed a
Catholic Funeral; there are some requirements to be followed. If you are interested in knowing
more about it, come for an evening conversation with Fr. Carlos. The Catholic guidelines for funeral will be presented, especially regarding cremation. There will also be a time for questions
and answers. Please call the office to reserve a place until Monday, September 9th.

We begin our sessions for parents preparing their children for the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Sept 17 These sessions will review or highlight the theology of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. After a year of religious instruction in our Religious Education Session, we invite those students to prepare with their parents for the Sacramental experience of God’s forgiveness in Reconciliation. Our teens and their parents will be coming together for an orientation session for Confirmation on Tuesday, September 24 from 7:00pm-8:15pm in church. There will be other meetings for Sacramental Preparation throughout the year.
During our Religious Education sessions, we will have the parents attend a session during their child’s class. We will help parents deepen our own faith so we can encourage our children to be people living our Faith. At this session we will be in-
troducing our new safe and sacred environment program: Circle of Grace. This Meet and Greet will be today, September 8. Those children who attend our Wednesday sessions will have their parents attend on September 11th during class time.

one, often comes from love and support of family and friends. After the funeral, when family and friends have
returned home, the need for that comfort may continue. If you have need for such
continued comfort, please join Deacon Jack and Marilyn and Deacon Vincent Beckles at a Grief support gathering at 7:00 p.m. the second Monday of the month, room 13

ESOL CLASSES AT RESURRECTION
Beginning on September 18 until November 21, 2019. Every Wednesday and Thursday
from 9:30am to 11:30am
A total of twenty classes over a period of 10 weeks. Size of class will be limited. First come first served. Free, but must register at parish office. Once we reach limit of students, we will create a waiting list. We will make use of online material and apps, so bring a cellphone.

programa “Online Giving”. Se você não está recebendo seus envelopes, entre em contato

em nossa paróquia não exige que um paroquiano dê contribuições financeiras. O uso regular de seus envelopes quando
você participa da missa, independentemente do valor da sua doação, nos permite marcá-lo como um membro ativo
de nossa comunidade e participante da Fé. A participação ativa é necessária para ser um padrinho ou madrinha para o
batismo e o crisma, ou para receber cartas de recomendação para imigração ou para a admissão a uma escola
católica. O fato de ser registrado na paróquia estabelece evidência de sua presença nos Estados Unidos e demonstra o

• Entregar el boletín semanal al final de la Misa
Este servicio requiere preparación espiritual, una actitud de
servicio y entrenamiento específico. Los servidores del ministerio
deben reflejar la devoción, reverencia y alegría del encuentro con
Dios durante el servicio. Proporcionan una presencia agradable y
acogedora para los que lleguen a la Santa Misa. Deben ser buenos
observadores, delicados y sobre todo deben tener un sincero deseo
de servirle a Dios.

activos que no participan en el programa de
donaciones en línea (online giving). Ser registrado
es una forma de establecer evidencia de su presencia en los Estados
Unidos y demuestra la participación en la comunidad. Tenga por
cierto que la parroquia y la diócesis no compartirán la información de
registro con ninguna agencia gubernamental o policial. El proceso de
registro es completamente confidencial.
