ATT uses Retail application called Pos.Com II which runs at the Company Owned Call centers to service both small and large segment business Customers. The project involves regression and functional testing of the all applications. Retail testing includes applications PDC, OPUS and PHOENIX. The project involves knowledge transfer by client via extensive Training programs, Shadowing & Reverse Shadowing phase. The Project includes the introduction of new functionalities every release (Release every Quarter) known as Kintanas.
Our involvement starts from the test designing phase then to the planning phase and till the test execution phase of these kintanas. Reporting and Verification of defects & bugs is done using Clear Quest. The project detailed study of AT&T core billing system Telegence (Amdocs Ensemble). The Project also catered billing System CARE, by converges, but all market being converted to a single billing system the use of CARE has been abandoned.
Has also worked with the clients directly on TEMS and TOTS Applications . Was the only point of contact for both the applications from offshore and was the deployment coordinator for those two applications in South East region.
Creation Of CR ( Change Request ) from AOTS Remedy tool was also the primary work for me as all the requests in JIRA come to me and through that I used to create CR`s for different applications after coordinating with the respective owners .
Responsibilities
Analysis and understanding requirements for effective test planning of new scopes and projects. Design and Execution of the Test Plan, Test Cases and generating Reports and mapping Business
Requirements with them. Keep the Updated records of the Defects Raised and the Updated List of Test Cases. Involved in API Testing by checking Logs of the Critical Projects and Enhancement Attending the Projects related calls time to time. CR creations for different applications. Perform Functional, System, Regression, retest and adhoc testing. Updating Test Status in HP Quality Center. Logging defects and linking them to Test Scripts in Test
Lab in HP Quality Center and tracking them until closure. Knowledge transfer, mentoring new team members and assisting them with testing activities. Coordinating with developers (Bug Dance) for defect tracking and prioritizing critical defects. Coordinating with Other Application teams for Live testing with real Lab Equipments. Daily interaction with the client for deliverables update. Post Release analysis, Preparing Reports for Audit and Quality related activities.
