SUMMARY
Have almost 5 years of experience in capital markets domain and have been working on the implementation of calypso as a Front Office, Middle Office (ERS) and Back office system. I have worked as a developer with leading investment banks of Europe.
Have passed FRM part-1. Looking forward to pass the 2nd part till May 2017. Have experience of working at the client locations Finland, Dubai. Experience on requirement gathering, solution designing and implementation. Deep knowledge of usage of custom Calypso APIs to provide an efficient solution.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
Project#1 : Client : Leading Investment Bank in DubaiEnvironment : Calypso 13.Asset Classes : FX, Equity, Cash, Bonds
Description: The aim of the project was to migrate Equity, Bond, Cash and FX products on calypso from trading platform Kondor.
Responsibilities: Development of static data filters, workflow rules, engines, accounting events specific to Islamic
instruments. Data migration and reconciliation of data after migration.
Project#2 : Client : Leading Investment Bank in DubaiEnvironment : Calypso 13.
Description: The aim of the project was to develop a Calypso Operational Data Store (ODS) that will hold Calypso data required for the Bank’s TRY Finance group’s regulatory and MIS reporting requirements (Calypso and Non-Calypso reports). This project involves extracting all data, as required by the TRY Finance group, from Calypso and loading these into an Operational Data Store.
Responsibilities: Develop and unit testing of Calypso reports for data migration from Calypso. Configure scheduled tasks to run extracts Customize Calypso entities to enable extraction of all data from the entities.
Project#3 : Client : Leading Investment Bank in EuropeEnvironment : Java 8, Calypso 14.
Description: The aim of the project was to upgrade calypso from v12 to v14.
Responsibilities: Code migration. Regression testing.
Project#4 :Client : Leading Investment Bank in FinlandEnvironment : Java 6, Calypso 12.
Description: The bank uses Calypso as a Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office system. The project goal was to implement IRD and FX products on Calypso.
Responsibilities:• Development of custom pricers, custom trade window, and trade workflow rules etc.• Development of upstream and downstream interfaces to Calypso.• Creation of custom reports, scheduled tasks, engines, workflow rules, html/swift implementation etc.• Development of migration tools (e.g. Trade data verification).
Project#5:Client : Leading investment bank in Paris.Environment : Java 6, Calypso 9 and 13.
Description: Migration from Calypso version 9 to 13 involved migration of custom code on the latest version.
Responsibilities: Code migration Substitute the obsolete APIs with the new ones wherever applicable. Unit testing the module before and after the code migration to avoid any regression. Regression testing. Database migration.
Project#6 :
Client : Leading investment bank in Paris.Environment : Java 5 and 6, Calypso 9Asset Classes : FX, Interest rate derivatives, Bonds
Description: The bank uses Calypso to handle the back office operations. The deals come from the different front office system like K+, SUMMIT. The back office operations are performed on Calypso. It includes messaging (Confirmation, Payment and Receipt) between the client and counterparty, Accounting etc. Various customized reports are generated as per user requirement.
Responsibilities: Interaction with client to understand the business requirement and provide the best implementation
on Calypso Development of custom reports, scheduled tasks, engines, workflow rules, html/swift implementation
etc.
Design, development and unit testing of the requirement Enhancement of the existing implementation Code Reviews. Training of new Team Members
Specific contribution: Implemented DTCC messaging system Analyzed the EOD batch to improve the performance (time taken) and implemented the results.
