Office Assistant 6/12-5/31California State Controller’s Office of Disbursements - $2,636.00Monthly - My primary tasks as Courier (Office Assistant) were to pick up, sort, and deliver interoffice/postal mail to various Sacramento locations. As well maintain a state vehicle. Strict timelines needed to be adhered to consistently every day to ensure each department has what they needed at the time they needed it. - My primary tasks as an Office Assistant is to perform general office duties such as, utilizing a working knowledge of the Claim Schedule Process in order to process the “special” claim schedules under exceptional time release circumstances. Also, I assemble and distribute payroll warrants, EFT Advices, monthly reports, and other related documents for various agencies/campuses. As well as provide support services to the division, log and review warrants, and accept phone calls from issuing agencies and the general public.

Studio Intern 3/12-6/12 Sanctuary Recording Studios - $0Monthly

- My primary tasks included but not limited to gear and instrument set up/upkeep, interfacing and moving gear, assist the engineer before, during, and after the recording session. I also had to run errands and act as the suite receptionist. I had to answer a multi-lined phone and distribute mail. Utilizing Microsoft Outlook, I had to book and coordinate recording sessions between artists and engineers. As the receptionist, I also had to greet and instruct artists and customers with their pertinent information about their recording sessions i.e.: what studio their session was going to be in that day, what was happening with previously recorded material, and what the schedule was for that day of recording.

Customer Service Representative 11/09-2/10McDonalds Corporation - $8.00 Hourly -My three main duties consisted of: customer service, food preparation, and cleanliness and hygiene. At McDonalds, customer service is paramount. I had to provide quick accurate service as well as have sensitivity for every customer’s needs. Food preparation requires the use of a wide variety of specialized equipment. Orders had to be produced quickly and in a consistent manner. Lastly, cleanliness and hygiene are very important not only to the outward appearance, but also every customer’s experience inside the McDonalds. I had to learn how to use several cleaning products as well as utensils.

Student Assistant 9/08-6/09Department of Corrections - $9.23Hourly -My duties included assisting in the performance of administrative duties related to the Telecommunication System’s database tables, files, and other administrative functions. I also had to assist in the research and updating of records and files. As well as assist the leasing staff in organization and filling cubicles with necessary tools staff needed i.e.: phone lines, computer lines, printers, and fax/copy machines.

Seasonal Installation Technician 3/08-8/08J&C Flooring - $10.50Hourly -My primary function was to lay flooring in a variety of establishments such as buildings, restaurants, homes, offices, and factories. Some of the materials I used were laminate, linoleum, vinyl, cork, rubber, cement, carpet, wood, and tile. Other specific duties included inspecting and cleaning area for installation, measure the area, determine how much materials should be used, and routinely employ a wide variety of power tools to cut and install flooring.

State Controller’s Office Departmental Accounting - $9.23Hourly -My primary duties were to assist with and act as the receptionist by answering a multiline phone and greeting anybody who came to the reception area window. I also had to retrieve and sort department mail to addressed individuals. A big part of my daily routine was assembling departmental and CIRM claim schedules. This requires attention to detail and organizational skills. Furthermore, I had to perform various clerical office duties such as filing, copying, and collating.
