2 year of Experience as a Storage Engineer for EMC with ISM Certification.

Worked on multiple EMC product, Centera and Powerpath.

Centera which uses CAS method to archive the data with checking with the services on the windows

server time to time while EMC Powerpath is multipath software used in SAN environment.

Time to time checking with the root cause of the issue prevailed from the host side (Windows).

Currently working as L2 engineer, and being a senior EP member providing technical sessions/ case-

studies to team time to time.

Description: EMC Centera is a storage device which works on CAS technology and provides data authenticity & integrity.EMC Powerpath is a multipathing software used in SAN environment to provide high availability for the storage ac-cess via host.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting the issues with the application which includes remotely to customer site or working live

with customer on the WebEx session.

Working on the replication issues for customer which is a high data availability method.

Working with application team sometimes in order to verify whether the issues faced by them is from

storage end or the application end.

Analyzing logs related and providing solutions accordingly.

Interoperability of software and issues.

Backup and restore, moving data sometime from disaster recovery sites

Working on data regeneration task which helps in the data regeneration.

Working on the node upgradation and node troubleshooting which includes installation of them.

Ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed. Mentoring team members in troubleshooting to achieve the Customer satisfaction. Consulting with L4/Engineering team for DU/DL or very critical issues. Preparing the consultation

documentation. Preparing the SR report, action plan for complex issues.

Support 24x7 as per project's requirement. Maintain day to day status of cases/SRs.

Conducting process and technical knowledge sessions with all team members in regular basis so that everyone is aware of the project related activities as well technical expertise.

Report the current project status to the respective management authorities.

Also in free time I use to read Java to build my coding skill set.
