SKILLS

At my current place of employment I have done multiple positions. I started at front desk which included greeting patients, checking them in, verifying insurance, and having them checked in. I also was Medical Assistant for one of the Pain Management teams. This position included prepping charts, imaging, vitals and having them completely prepared for the doctor. And in my current position I am doing Medical Records. Which includes scanning in imaging, previous records, and any documents that need to be included in the patients chart. I also fulfill medical records requests for imaging centers, law firms and request and sending records to and from other practices while making sure patients and our practice is protected with the HIPAA Act Policy. We use operating systems: Athena, Epic, Microsoft Word & Excel, and multiple physician’s portals to access imaging.

At my previous position I have been able to exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. I have been consistently recognized for exemplary customer service. Reliably enforces policy and procedure with respect to each governing body and regulation for the banking industry. Research customer information and help to train and assist other employees in new processes. I am great at multitasking, working with multiple deadlines, and am quick learner. Work with custom applications tailored to specific business needs. Familiar with Microsoft Office products, and the following operating systems: Microsoft XP, Windows 7 and 8.1.
