Worked on a rule based Hindi to English translator for an open source project Apertium.

Summer Research Intern

Worked as a research intern at the Adaptive Networks Group in Aston University. Developed

a prototype that could help in fall detection in elderly people using wireless sensor networks.

Learned and experimented with tools like TinyOS and nesC in order to program the wireless

sensor motes. Implemented and tested various protocols for the wireless Sensor

Networks.Developed a software interface (mainly in java) that could help link the wireless

sensors to the world wide web for easy publishing and sharing of information

Summer Research Intern

Worked under Prof Bala Subhramaniam in the area of Digital Image Processing. Developed

and tested algorithms for digital watermarking of colored images using wavelet transforms

and singular value decomposition.Improved the previous proposed algorithms.

Application Engineer Intern

Worked on two projects during the internship at AVL which mainly involved developing

assembly language software for the chiller operation IC's which were used for temperature

control and pressure monitoring.Programmed the PIC microcontroller for the efficient

operation of the IC
