2 A large late 19th century Continental porcelain vase of elaborate rococo form; the central
vignette depicting one of Henry VIII's wives pleading for her life before the seated
monarch, hand-decorated and gilded etc., with 'C' scrolls and scrolling foliage and
cherub-like figures including a lower cherubic-like figure sitting within an arbour, the
reverse central vignette detailing allegories of music, the gilding above a celeste-blue

1858 as gold mining town and which had flourished with the influx of thousands of people
seeking to make their fortune. This gambling spirit that led many to trek across America

saloons and clubs that quickly strung up so that prospectors could spend their gold or
drown their sorrows

written letter dated December 12th 96 and signed by Ruby Knauss and amongst other
sentiments refers to the dolls as originally being given to Nettie and Nelson as an
anniversary gift, the dolls are dressed in their wedding attire, she also refers to certain
collector nostalgia Barbie and Ken dolls having increased greatly in value, she states
these are original and mint in their respective boxes and are very rare and valuable, sold

German naval officers were present. The Imperial War Museum website records there
is a painting by John Lavery in the Imperial War Museum, London called 'The End: The
Fore-Cabin of H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth with Admiral Beatty Reading The Terms of
