way to access, store, manage, and

authorize your SGS reports anytime and

from anywhere. It also include additional

features such as Online report validation,

Under the REACH regulation, organizations shall notify the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and provide relevant information to its supply chain if their products contain a substance of very high concern (SVHC). At the same time, the substances listed in the Annex XVII of REACH shall not be used in products. SGS provides comprehensive REACH solutions and helps you fulfill REACH requirements.

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is an

important tool used to clarify the

toxicological properties of chemicals

and ensure the safe use of them in

the supply chain. SGS provides a SDS

service for organizations according to

REACH requirements.

Due to complex manufacturing

processes and the involvement of

various stakeholders along the

supply chain, products may

potentially contain substances on

the SVHC candidate list. The SVHC

Screening and Testing Service

identifies these substances so you

can take appropriate actions to fulfill

relevant REACH obligations.

Apart from the SVHC candidate list,

manufacturers should also be aware

of the use of REACH restricted

substances (ANNEX XVII) in their

products. Our REACH Restricted

Substance Testing Service assists

you in managing the use of

restricted substances in your

products.

SGS analyzes both the products and

the existing control work according

to the listed REACH obligations, and

issues you with a REACH compliance

statement, providing proof of your

conformity.

To meet the challenges posed by

REACH, organizations need to

establish a system to manage

all chemical information on REACH

compliant products and all

associated processes. SGS REACH

Process Audit is an effective tool to

verify REACH management systems.

REACH PROCESS AUDIT

In order to transmit chemical

information in the supply chain

effectively, the industry has

developed several material

declaration tools, such as JAMP, IPC

1752, BoMCheck, etc. SGS provides

a Material Declaration Service, which

includes training, information filing

and inspection to ensure a smooth

and efficient declaration of materials.

Effective January 5, 2021 and as

a requirement stipulated by an

amendment of the Waste Framework

Directive (EU) 2018/851, all articles

imported into the EU are required

to input relevant material and SVHC

information into the SCIP Database.

SGS provides solution to SCIP

Database to comply with this

requirement.
