  • Responsible Lease

  • In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility, an ethical approach to vehicle f leets and the environment has become a key principle of mobility policy. With an environmentally friendly approach to mobility, for example by selecting clean and economical cars and training drivers to drive more safely and economically, you can promote awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility throughout your organisation. What’s more, you can raise your company’s profile on environmental issues, and benefit from lower vehicle and fuel costs.

But gaining maximum benefit from the many advantages offered by a sustainable f leet calls for a major commitment from you. That’s why companies are increasingly turning to external agencies for support. Responsible Lease is a smart mobility plan from Volkswagen Pon Financial Services to enhance the sustainability of your f leet by using the latest technologies. Its power lies in a natural balance between PON, which takes the lead in sustainability with its market-

leading brands, and Volkswagen Pon Financial Services as advisor and overall coordinator. And you reap the benefits of the result!

Responsible Lease includes a practical action plan in which we attune your f leet to achieve the lowest possible harmful emissions. We also offer you a module that raises drivers’ awareness through an economical driving training programme and an incentive scheme. With state-of-the-art reporting systems we can accurately monitor all the initiatives, and make adjustments in good time where necessary.

The efficiency of this mobility plan is shown by the fact that we can almost always guarantee a substantial CO2 reduction in your f leet, as well as a saving on your vehicle costs: a result we will be delighted to achieve for you!

Step 1: A razor-sharp analysis as the starting point for our adviceKnowledge is power. That’s why we first carry out a f leet scan, to gain insight into the sustainability status of your f leet. On the basis of this analysis we then make proposals for improvements, for example on the composition of your f leet, the energy labels and the level of CO2 emissions. From this clear starting point we can then identify the potential for savings. You let us know your objectives for savings on your f leet costs and CO2, and we take care of the approach to achieving these objectives!

Step 2: The right choice of vehicle means major savingsOn the basis of your objectives, we can advise you on the composition of your f leet, making a selection of energy-efficient models and types from the Volkswagen Group. By comparing this ideal f leet with your current vehicles, you can see exactly what your potential savings and CO2 reductions could be. The Volkswagen Group offers vehicles from Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, SEAT and ŠKODA, so you can always be sure of the strongest brands, with extensive model ranges, that lead the way in terms of safety and the environment.

    Potential savings with BlueMotion technology

Example: Fleet with 100 vehicles (Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI BlueMotion), 36-month lease contract and 30,000 kilometres per year.

The fuel price applied is the BP recommended retail price excluding VAT as of September 2014.

Responsible Lease. The smartest route to a sustainable f leet.

Three steps towards a sustainable fleet:

    Usage Calculation Saving in E

    3,2 l/100 km 1,231 /l Diesel x 3,2/100 km x 90.000 km x 100 vehicles 354,528

  • Step 3: Save even more: the choice is yours!Increasingly the sustainability of your f leet isn’t something you do alone. Your drivers also play a major role, because their driving behaviour has a significant inf luence on the sustainability of your f leet. That’s why we have included a special module in Responsible Lease that raises drivers’ awareness of this. The module gives you all the tools you need to modify their driving behaviour, and so reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption in this way too.

Economical Driving TrainingIn partnership with the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB we have developed a driver training programme based on the principles of “New Driving”. In the training drivers learn to make the best possible use of the new technology that is built into the vehicles, making it possible to cover the same distance in the same time with 10% lower fuel consumption. And a welcome by-product of the training is that it also reduces incidents of damage and traffic penalties.

Online reporting systemWith our advanced online reporting system we can monitor the cumulative effect of these interventions, on both driver and f leet level, in terms of CO2 emissions, fuel consumption, damage, traffic penalties, etc. If interim adjustments are needed we will of course be happy to advise you on this. So your f leet needs as little attention as possible!

Incentive schemeThe more economical your drivers are with fuel, the more you save. With an incentive scheme you can personally involve your drivers in increasing the sustainability of your fleet. Drivers can be rewarded for fuel-efficient and responsible driving, so they are given the greatest possible encouragement to drive economically and responsibly. That’s good for you, for your drivers and for the environment!

Responsible Lease? For you too! When you choose Responsible Lease, you are choosing one of the most innovative programmes for increasing the sustainability of your f leet. In almost all cases the result is an impressive reduction in your f leet costs and CO2 emissions. That makes Responsible Lease the leading approach to f leetsustainability.

If you are interested in Responsible Lease and would like to know exactly what this mobility programme can mean for you, please contact us. We will be pleased to give you more information.
