Code of Student Responsibility- University Policy 406- Applies to every student who has accepted admission- Governs student behavioral conduct inside and outside of classroom- Can be applied to off campus behavior- Overseen by Office of Student Conduct- Behaviors reported via online submission:

* incidentreport.uncc.edu* by University Police, faculty, staff, other students

- Attorney/Non-Attorney Advocate rights- Records protected by FERPA

Code of Student Responsibility- If a student has displayed behavior you suspect is a violation:

* contact our office to discuss; and/or * submit online incident report incidentreport.uncc.edu

- If the behavior is an immediate threat, call Campus Police at 704-687-2200- A staff member from the Dean of Students Office may contact you for additional information about the incident- Based upon information gathered, we will determine if a violation occurred and how to proceed- Educational conversation vs. conduct

Code of Academic Integrity- University Policy 407- Governs academic coursework- Overseen by Academic Affairs

*Dr. Rick Lejk, Chair of Academic Integrity Board- Record keeping maintained by Dean of Students Office (DSO)

Code of Academic Integrity- If you suspect a student has committed a violation:

* call the Dean of Students Office for prior history- If no prior, and penalty is less than FX, SU or EX

* proceed with offer of a Settlement Form* one per student for entire academic career!* student must sign in agreement* student can request AI Board

- If prior, or penalty sought is FX, SU or EX* refer to Dr. Lejk for AI Board* faculty member will be required to

provide information in front of the Board

Campus Behavioral Intervention Team- “Niner Care Team”- Multi-divisional committee to address behaviors of concern and develop intervention plans
