■Square tooth mouldsWith this angular shape, thecentral incisor is dominant. The gingivo-incisal curvatureis moderate and the residualridge is markedly square, indicating a normal bite.
▲Triangular tooth mouldsThis group is characterizedby teeth having a rejuvenating crown whichtapers towards the cervicalridge. The gingivo-incisalcurvature is moderate. Thelarge central incisor has anattractive, slightly triangularshape. The residual ridge isalso triangular, sometimesindicating a crossbite.
●Oval tooth mouldsThe teeth of this categoryhave a pronounced gingivo-incisal curvature. The ovalresidual ridge often indicatesan overbite.
Anterior Teeth
Selection Criteria
Ivoclar Vivadent anteriorteeth are categorized intosquare, tapering, and ovoidshapes. Although these areonly general descriptions, there are certain character-istics that can be ascribed toeach category.
However, it should be notedthat each mould has its ownindividual character andshould be viewed in the con-text of a complete set ratherthan focusing only on thisone set of criteria.
Layers Anterior Teeth
3 Layer Teeth– SR Antaris DCL– SR Vivodent– SR Vivodent DCL
4 Layer Teeth– SR Vivodent PE
PE stand for ”Pearl Effect”.PE teeth have a fourth layerthat adds a bluish iridescenteffect which increases lightreflection and creates a morenatural appearance.

N-type mould for normalbiteWith normal bite types(according to Angle, Class I),the intervestibular line ofthe anterior profile curve isperpendicular to the occlusalplane. For these patients, N-type moulds are to be used. They are available in five different sizes.
T-type mould for overbiteIn the rehabilitation of adeep overbite (distal bite,Class II), the recedingmandible contrasts with theprotruding maxilla. Theoverbite requires posteriorswith steep cusp inclination. For that reason, T-typemoulds should be selected. They are available in twosizes.
K-type mould for cross-biteIn a crossbite situation(Class III), a protrudingmandible results in the inter-vestibular line forming a rel-atively acute angle in rela-tion to the occlusal plane. K-type moulds are thus indi-cated, as their inclination is relatively flat. They are alsoavailable in two sizes.
Posterior Teeth
This tooth selection chartfacilitates the selection ofcorresponding sizes tomatch the selection anteriorteeth.
Ivoclar Vivadent offers avariety of posterior occlusaloptions, which give the clinician the opportunity toselect a tooth form that willbest meet the functionaland esthetic needs of thepatient.
SR Postaris DCLSR Postaris DCL is the exquisite posterior tooth forcomplete dentures, but particularly for partial dentures. The naturalocclusal scheme allows the patient excellent mastication, supports functional movements andoffers the user a large rangeof set-up concepts.
SR Ortholingual DCLThe new SR OrtholingualDCL posterior tooth combines aesthetics, functional occlusion, andexcellent abrasion behaviour.SR Ortholingual DCL offersan easy and functional set-up concept, particularly forthe lingualized set-up theory.
SR Orthoplane DCLSR Orthoplane DCL is the 0°posterior tooth, the mainfeature of which is the simple occlusal anatomy. It isparticularly suitable forgeroprosthodontics. Thespecial morphology offersthe patient maximum occlusal scope and reducestime when grinding theteeth during treatment.

Characterization of resin teethIncreasing aesthetic demands placed on removable dentures call for the possibility ofindividual characterization of resin teeth. Incombined denture prosthetics, this has becomean indispensable part of the daily practice. Thematerial composition of SR Antaris / SR Postarispermit individual adjustments of shape andshade by means of SR Chromasit Creative and /or SR Spectrasit Creative veneering materials.
