CPMP Page 1 Reset CPMP IDX/Centricity Passwords This is the procedure to reset CPMP IDX/Centricity passwords. First, determine if user is having problems logging on to CPMP GE/IDX Scheduling System. They may be confused about their UHMC network log on or Centricity Imaging (IDXRad) or other applications that have the word Centricity in them. If they are in fact using IDX CPMP, they would be using one of the icons below: Centricity Business 5.0 (WEB) or IDXTerm 2.71. In most cases, both icons will be on the desktop or in the START…ALL PROGRAMS menu. 1. Log on to Centricity 5.0 (GE/IDX) using CB 5.0 icon or the link below: http://stbwebxtd1.cpmp.sunysb.edu/IDXWeb/ **FIRST TIME LOGON – We must add the sunysb.edu site to our Compatibility View Settings in Internet Explorer Browser before proceeding. While on the CB5.0 website click Tools…Internet Options…Compatibility View Settings…Add Site. The username and password to log on must be in ALL CAPS. Stay in ALL CAPS mode throughout this process. Reset CPMP IDX/Centricity Passwords

This is the procedure to reset CPMP IDX/Centricity passwords. First, determine if user is having problems

logging on to CPMP GE/IDX Scheduling System. They may be confused about their UHMC network log on or

Centricity Imaging (IDXRad) or other applications that have the word Centricity in them.

If they are in fact using IDX CPMP, they would be using one of the icons below: Centricity Business 5.0 (WEB) or

IDXTerm 2.71.

In most cases, both icons will be on the desktop or in the START…ALL PROGRAMS menu.

1. Log on to Centricity 5.0 (GE/IDX) using CB 5.0 icon or the link below:

**FIRST TIME LOGON – We must add the sunysb.edu site to our Compatibility View Settings in

Internet Explorer Browser before proceeding. While on the CB5.0 website click Tools…Internet

Options…Compatibility View Settings…Add Site.

The username and password to log on must be in ALL CAPS. Stay in ALL CAPS mode throughout this process.

A. Below CPMP Help Desk select Security:

B. Confirm that user has an active account in IDXTerm Security through Add/Copy/Delete/Edit User

option.

C. Ask user for their 3 letter GE/IDX user initials; enter their initials in the User: field at top and press

TAB or click on magnifying glass to look up their account.

The AUTHEN. CODE field contains the last 4 digits of their SSN. Ask the user for the last 4 digits to

confirm their identity.

The Add/Copy/Delete/Edit User screen also shows the last sign on and if the account is inactive.

If the account is *Inactive* with a profile, DO NOT RESET PASSWORD. Inform the user that there is an issue

with their account and transfer the call to Carol or Terry from CPMP at 4-4906, option 2.

PROCEED TO PASSWORD RESET PROCEDURE BELOW IF USER IS ACTIVE AND CONFIRMS THE LAST FOUR

DIGITS OF SS#.

staff with access to the Scheduling Application should be assigned to a profile.

D. Check WEB User Summary to confirm that the person has Centricity Business 5.0 WEB access.

Click on Web User Summary tab and enter 3 letter username; then click Search at right.

If initials display, click on Username (example: CF6) to view summary screen and Last Login date:

User Summary Screen:

If user DOES NOT have WEB access, skip to IDXTerm Password only reset procedure in PART 2 below.

If user has WEB access with a fairly current “last log in” date and is “active” in IDXTerm, continue with

following screens:

E. Click on WEB User Edit Tab; delete the characters in the password field and type WELCOME10 in

ALL CAPS. Check the box next to Force Password Change and then click Save.

Password change confirmation screen will appear. Click OK.

F. Click on IDXTerm Security.

The Reset Security Plus Passwords screen displays with all users in alphabetical order by their

Username initials.

a. Click on “Filter” at bottom.

G. Filter options display at the bottom of the screen.

1. Enter a “U” in field 1 under Filter Column and press Tab,

2. Press Tab a second time and it will automatically enter an equals “=” symbol under Operator.

3. In the last field under Value, enter the user’s three letter username (ALL CAPS).

4. Click OK at bottom.

H. The individual’s username and account will display.

1. Check the box next to their username.

2. Click on Web Reset Password Tool.

3. The system automatically resets their IDXTerm Security password to the temporary pass

through password: WELCOME10

Instruct the end user to double click on the Centricity Business 5.0 icon.

Type their three letter GE/IDX Username (ALL CAPS), then press tab and type WELCOME10 (ALL CAPS) as the

initial password field.

Then click log in.

The following screen displays where the end user enters and confirms their new password. Advise users that

passwords are Case Sensitive – they can be entered in upper case, lower case or a combination. Remind

them to check the CAPS Lock on the keyboard before typing a new password. GE/IDX three letter initials must

be entered in ALL CAPS. To be consistent, we recommend keeping the username and password ALL CAPS.

Also, passwords cannot be reused in GE/IDX.

Click Save after confirming password.

Password change Confirmation box will appear. User clicks OK.

The Organization/Group/HMO screen displays next. All users see this screen every time they log in. Click OK

and branch to Patient Services screen.

2. IDXTerm Security Access Only – Reset Password

A. After confirming user identity and the lack of IDX Web User Access, click on IDXTerm Security and

select Reset a Password.

I. The individual’s username and account will display.

a. Check the box next to their username.

b. Click on Reset Password.

J. At bottom of the page, type the number 1 or a letter 8 times and click OK.

K. Password change confirmation box displays.

a. Click Yes.

Have user log on to IDXTerm. They need to type System Username: STBSCHED (enter) and Password:

CPMPSCHED (enter).

Then branch to GE User sign on screen. Type three letter initials (press enter) then type password that was

entered by technician (press enter).

Advise user to click OK on expired password message and type and confirm New Password. Advise user that

passwords are Case Sensitive and need to be a minimum of 8 characters. Passwords do not display when

typing in IDXTerm. Also, passwords cannot be reused in GE/IDX.

Press enter after confirming new password and click OK on Password changed message.

At Enter choice, type option for Sched and press enter to branch to Function menu.

At Function, type 1 and press enter to branch to Schedule an Appointment Screen.

ADDITIONAL SEARCH METHODS:

Select Activate/Deactivate User option to Search and Look up ALL USERS that have access to IDX.

All active and inactive users display in alphabetical order by Username:

Click on Filter (Action code F) to sort the list by department to find a username. Type D in Filter Column; leave

operator at =; then type first few letters of security plus department; then click OK.

Then you can scroll through department to find individual user by name.
