IDEA DESCRIPTION:

Scientists have succeeded in inventing a particular type of concrete stones which decontaminate air and act as air purifying elements. Similary , work has also been carried out on concrete that heals its cracks.However, my objective is to take this idea one step further and make a multi-purpose concrete with several func-tions viz. air purification and self-healing in case of cracks.

BENEFITS :

The benefits of this idea are many including cost savings, double the life time of concrete, and most importantly reducing the footprint of CO2. I believe that this idea is sustainable and people will be interested in it. Most importantly , what will make my idea unique from others will be its economical cost. Eco-concretes produced uptil now are expen-sive and out of reach of a common man.
