How to Obtain Records from Western Union
1. Before Contacting Western Union, make sure you have the following information: • Phone number and address associated with your Western Union account (if the address on file
has changed you should let them know since the records will be sent to you by mail) • Range of dates or time frame of records that you need • The receiver’s name on the history of transactions that is needed

Sample Email to Western Union:
To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to obtain records from Western Union for Mr./ Ms. (first and last name) of account number __________(Western Union account number)_______ for transactions received by _____(name of person who received the money) between the dates of _______(date range)______ . (Include this sentence if your address has changed since the transaction) My address has also changed since these transactions so please send copies of these records to my new address at: ______________(new address)______________________________________________ Please do not hesitate to contact me through email or by phone at _______(phone number)_____________ if you have additional questions. There is no charge to obtain these records from Western Union and the process takes from 7 to 10 days for you to receive the records.
