RESOLUTION NO. 2012- 04 - 031

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE AWARD OF PROJECTS TO THE LONE/LOWEST CALCULATED AND RESPONSIVE BIDDERS.

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Benguet advertised the Invitation to Bid for the projects and posted in the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), Benguet website(www.benguet.gov.ph), designated areas at the Provincial Capitol Lobby, and at the Office of the Provincial Engineer from April 12, 2012 – April 20, 2012.

WHEREAS, in accordance to Section 53.9 of RA 9184 as amended, the BAC- Infrastructure is allowed to procure Projects through Small Value Procurement under the other modes of procurement.

WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) has invited qualified contractors to negotiate with the BAC- Infrastructure for the procurement of said projects in consonance with Section 53.9 of RA 9184 as amended.

WHEREAS, in response to the invitation, contractors participated in the bidding conducted on April 24, 2012.

WHEREAS, after the opening of bids, an evaluation was conducted by the Technical Working Group (TWG) and after deliberation by the BAC of the results, 8 projects were recommended for award to the lone calculated responsive bidders and 4 projects were recommended for award to the lowest calculated responsive bidder as follows.
