REPUBLIC DAY
Republic Day is one of the most important national festivals of India.It is celebrated on 26th of January every year.
WHY DO WE CELEBRATE REPUBLIC DAY ?
On this day in the year 1950,our Constitution came into force.Constitution means a set of rules to be
followed by the people of a country.Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was the chief
person among those who made the Constitution of India.
On this day parade by the Indian Army takes place.
It starts from Vijay Chowk and ends at the India Gate in the capital city of New Delhi.
Indian Army salutes the honourable President of India at the Rajpath.
There are various cultural shows from different states.
Republic Day is celebrated all over India in schools ,colleges and all institutions.
It is also celebrated in Indian institutions abroad.
