Connect a lead from your guitar to the input jack (right jack). Connect a lead from the output jack (left jack) to your amplifier. Make sure a battery is fitted or a 9V DC centre negative adapter is connected to the power in socket.

For powering the pedal, the use of a well regulated power 9V DC power supply is recommended. Do NOT use voltages higher than 9V.

The use of power supplies other than the type specified may damage the pedal.To preserve battery life, unplug the input jack when the pedal is not in use.

To change the battery, remove the four screws on the back of the pedal. Remove the back plate and attach a 9V battery to the battery clip, making sure the polarity is correct.

Place the back plate on and tighten the screws.

If you always use an external adapter to power the pedal it is recommended that the battery be removed.

CONTROLS.The right control is the BOOST control. This controls the amount of output signal to the amplifier.

Higher settings provide more gain to the amplifieHigher settings provide more gain to the amplifier. The left control is the CUT control. This controls the treble present in the signal.

Turn the CUT control to the left to reduce the treble.

TIPS.For best results it is recommend to place the Reptile Brainer first in your signal chain or before

any pedals with buffered bypass.

The Reptile Brainer is a Treble Booster, which is designed to work with a tube amplifier. The use of solid state, digital amplifiers or amplifier modeling software with the Reptile Brainer is not recommended.
