OBJECTIVE
CHRF works with the following objectives:
To make available affordable Promotive, Preventive and Curative
Healthcare services to all classes of community
through establishment of hospitals, Dispensaries, Health
centers, Diagnostic labs etc.
To participate in the initiatives of the Government and the
other relevant synergetic organizations regarding
healthcare, population welfare, vaccination, emergency medical
services, healthcare awareness and the like.
To understand surveys, awareness programs, and outreach
programmes for healthcare amelioration o
community.
To make use of prevalent and innovative technologies in
delivering healthcare services.
To understand research and development in the areas of
healthcare and its allied services.
To organize seminars, lectures, training programmes, need based
certification programmes for healthcare field
and other such programmes for strengthen healthcare system of
the society.
To disseminate knowledge and spread awareness regarding
preventive care, hygiene, dietary habits and
nutrition intake and other such areas related to healthcare.
To publish books, magazines, newsletters and other such
literature and to use all means of communication using
latest technologies to spread knowledge and information in any
field with which the foundation is concerned.

HISTORY
Charotar Medicare Centrewas established in December 2008 with an
aim to serve the CHARUSAT Campus as wel
as villages of Charotar with Quality Health care services at
affordable rates. Gradually Charotar Medicare Centre ha
added different health care facilities under its banner.
Charotar Medicare Centre is regularly organizing 6 Outreach
Camps every month in various villages of Anand and
Kheda districts. After the Outreach Camps, facility of
transportation is provided to the patients who require furthe
treatment at Charotar Medicare Centre for the next 10 days.
CHARUSAT Hospital
To serve the society and community in better way, a 450 bed
world class multispecialty hospital-CHARUSAT hospita
has been planned. The hospital is being established with the
motto of CARE WITH COMPENSION. It will provide
sophisticated and advanced diagnostic, medical and surgical
facilities. It will offer these healthcare services to
people of all strata of society with affordable rates. The
hospital is planning to be developed in three phases as
under:

CHAROTAR MEDICARE CENTRE (CMC)
Charotar Medicare Center (CMC), the first step in healthcare
delivery service of the CHRF, has been functioning
since June 2010 with the aim of looking after the healthcare
needs of the faculty, staff and student of CHARUSAT
and providing affordable and good quality healthcare service to
the rural population in Charotar, Charotar Medicare
Center has, at present, a General Clinic, Dental Clinic,
Physiotherapy Clinic, Clinical Laboratory, and CHARUSAT
Pharmacy.

CHARUSAT Hospital
The first phase of hospital project is under execution. Survey
of 10000 rural population of CHAROTAR region was
done for the hospital planning and feasibility. Moreover 20
hospitals across the India including few top hospital ha
been visited have been visited for the hospital planning.
Architectural plan has been finalized with HCP design
Associates- Ahmedabad. In the first phase it will have a total
construction of around 3 lacs q. Ft. Presently
construction work of around 60000 sq. ft. is over. The building
will be ready by March 2013 and the first phase islikely to be
commissioned by July 2013.

ABOUT HOSPITAL:-
The hospital is of two Buildings and the details of the same is
as under:
PROJECT DETAILS:-
CHARUSAT HOSPITAL PROJECT is G+3 structures having an area 6966
Sq.m.
Estimated construction cost of the CHARUSAT HOSPITAL PROJECT for
civil engineering work is ` 45 crore.
PHISYOTHERAPY COLLEGE is G+2 structures having an area 2149 Sq.
m.
This project has an estimated cost of ` 14 crore for civil
engineering works.
The plinth area rate is `1800/Sq. Ft.
The distribution of whole work is described as follows.
