We believe student learning is informed by multiple data measures and motivated by co-curricular and extracurricular activities. We believe effective educators are intrinsically motivated, relationship focused, data driven individuals, who lead by example and know their students and value their unique stories. We believe professional learning must be relevant, timely, ongoing, and focused in order to be meaningful to educators and to improve student learning. Safe & Welcoming Environment The single campus set up of our school allows teachers and staff to be integrally involved in our school community, many of whom are Days Creek graduates who share their enthusiasm for the benefits of a small school learning environment. The wide-open spaces that surround Days Creek offer students room to grow strong, confident and ready for tomorrow.

About Our School

ADVANCED COURSEWORKDual enrollment courses are offered through Southern Oregon University and Umpqua Valley Community College. Courses are tailored around student ability and interest levels and provide a great way for students to begin earning college credit and exploring possible college and career pathways.

CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATIONWe boast one of the strongest agriculture and FFA programs in the county, with active metal, wood, horticulture and animal husbandry components. Former students in this program have competed nationally, representing Oregon in forestry and parliamentary procedure contests. The perfect fit of agriculture in our rural landscape is complemented by our tech-savvy staff and students, who reject the notion that remote means out-of-touch or disconnected.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIESA variety of athletic, club and student organizations are offered to Elementary, Middle and High School students.Fall activities include - Football and VolleyballWinter activities include - Basketball and WrestlingSpring activities include - Softball, Baseball and TrackFFA and student clubs are offered throughout the year.

PARENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTWe are one of the oldest charter schools in Oregon which brings unique benefits and advantages.By design, the Charter Board of Directors is composed of students, parents and community members. Parents and community supporters are active volunteers in the classroom, involved coaches and caring mentors. If it is serving the Booster Club, FFA, or as a class mom, parents and community members have multiple opportunities.
