Booking Procedure

1. Enquire about a rental unit’s availability for a particular date by calling us on 021 785 3331/3 or via email at [email protected]

2. Make a provisional booking3. Payment is due 3 days before collection (unless other arrangements have been made)4. (Cash, Credit Card or EFT is accepted)5. A cash deposit of R500 per unit is required on collection, and will be refunded when the

unit is returned6. All units come with a blower, bag and inflation instructions7. You will need to complete an indemnity form. It can be downloaded from the website or

completed on collection of the rental unit

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Safety Instructions for Inflatable Rentals

1. Supervision by an adult or responsible mature person should be in attendance at all times.

2. Ensure that the unit is secured properly with the securing lines and pegs provided.3. The unit should be fully inflated before children start playing on it. Nobody on the unit

during deflation.4. The blower and extension lead should not be in or near water.5. No shoes, glasses and jewellery, food or drink allowed on the unit.6. No pets!7. Do not jump on or off the unit and keep a distance from the sides.8. Only children of similar age and height should play on the unit together.9. Slide feet first on the units that have a sliding facility.10. No playing with the blower – sticking items or figures in the fan!11. No wrestling or somersaulting.

Inspection at point of inflation

1. The blower is tested before dispatch, but on receipt check again before unpacking unit.2. Ensure that the extension is long enough and not strained when plugged in. Also ensure

that the cable is placed in such a way that people cannot trip over it.3. Inspect the unit to ensure that there are no holes, tears or damage.

Note: Each unit and the blower are inspected and tested before dispatch, but should there be a problem, report the fault immediately.

Setting Up

1. Find a flat surface on which to place the blower. Do not place the blower on a sandy sur-face as the sand will be sucked into the blower.

2. Turn the blower so that it is in the direction of the unit.3. Attach the tube from the unit around the neck of the blower and secure by means of the

Velcro.4. Make sure that there is space all around the unit once it is inflated.5. The Blower should not be in or around water.6. Place the blower out of the way of children.7. Ensure that the power available is sufficient for the blower. If you are using a multi-plug

with other items plugged into it, you may find that the power is drained and not sufficient for the blower.

8. Try and use the shortest extension cable to avoid loss of power.

Deflation

1. Before deflation get all children off and out of the inflatable.2. Remove any debris that may be left on the inflatable.3. Disconnect the airflow and allow the air to escape freely.4. Remove all the anchoring devices, i.e. pegs and/or sand bags5. Once the unit is completely deflated pack up by systematically folding the sides in first

and then roll the unit.6. Place in PVC carry bag.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unit not inflating properly1. Check that there are no tears or rips in the fabric2. Ensure that the blower is tightly connected to the blower and no air is escaping3. If there are zips on the unit, check they are closed

Blower not working1. Check that all plugs are correctly plugged in2. Ensure that the circuit breaker has not tripped3. Check that the blower vent is not obstructed

Slow running fan / poor airflow1. The power cable may be too small for the size of the unit2. The power cable may be too long3. Clean the blower connector pipe

Weak fan pressure/fan noise1. Check if the fan is spinning backwards2. Turn the fan off3. Grab the air duct (preventing back flow) and wait till fan has stopped4. Turn the fan on again

• Ground sheet for hard surfaces

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL AGREEMENT

1. The inflatable shall be deemed in good order and fit the purpose for which it has been intended.

2. The full amount of the contract shall be paid in full on collection or delivery of the rental.

3. The Lessee accepts responsibility for the inflatable and its contents in the event of damage or loss due to any cause whatsoever.

4. Airspace Inflatables (Pty) Ltd will not be responsible to supply power to the blowers nor any extension leads.

5. No sharp object, animals, food or shoes are to be allowed on the inflata-ble.

6. No Children and/or animals are allowed to play with or near the blowers.

7. The blowers must not be left in the rain or near any water.

8. All damages or loss incurred to the equipment while in possession of the hirer, will be payable by the hirer unless mutually agreed to in writing by both parties prior to the use thereof.

9. No refunds will be considered under any circumstances.

10. If any overnight hire occurs, the inflatable must be folded & stored in a secure and dry area.

11. Airspace Inflatables (Pty) Ltd does not accept and is not liable for loss, damage or injury to any persons or property whatsoever.

12. The equipment should stand on a flat surface, preferably on grass and in the shade. If any other surface is used, the lessee must ensure a suitable covering is used on the surface under the equipment, otherwise the lessee will be liable for cost due to excessive wear and tear.

13. Do not use the equipment in a garage or any place where any part of the inflatable will come into contact with ceiling, timbers, tree branches or any such structure, which could result in excessive wear and tear. Should hot spots arise; the hirer will be liable for the repair costs.

INDEMNITY NOTICE

1. The Hirer hereby acknowledges that it is necessary to have a responsible adult in attendance to supervise children at all times.

2. The Hirer undertakes to ensure strict compliance herewith, indemnifying Airspace Inflatables (Pty) Ltd against any possible claims that may arise out of any damage or injury sustained by any person utilising the Inflatable and electrical blower fan.

3. Although every effort is made by Airspace Inflatables (Pty) Ltd to ensure the safety of the equipment, the Hirer assumes liability and is responsible to notify users that the inflatable is used entirely at their own risk.

4. Airspace Inflatables (Pty) Ltd does not accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury to any person(s) or property whatsoever.

5. Always have a responsible adult to supervise and operate the inflatable at all times.
