How do I know if these boats have been maintained? We routinely maintain these boats to ensure that they are always in the best operating condition for our rental customers. We cannot afford to have down time due to broken down boats. These boats are maintained by our certified technicians on staff. Ask your salesman for the service records.
Is the upholstery in good shape? All of our rental boats are treated with a warranty product called Platinum Protection. The extended warranty does not apply for our rental purposes because they are in a commercial fleet, but we apply the chemical anyways because it makes cleaning a breeze and keeps the boats in great shape. You can purchase a five (5) year extension of this warranty when you buy your boat for an additional $1,100. The warranty for interior damage will apply for you if you are not a commercial operation. Ask the Sales Manager at the dealership for details.
Will you discount the boat because of the scratches and dents? The boats are already priced with the consideration of the normal rental wear and tear that may have occurred to these boats over the past couple of years. If you see extensive damage that you would like to discuss just talk to your sales associate about it. We are willing to make exceptions if there are blemishes that were missed during the pricing process.
When can I take delivery? You can purchase these boats at any point throughout the year with a 10% non-refundable deposit. However, you cannot take delivery of the boat until October of each year because the boats are being actively used in the rental fleet. The savings that you are receiving on these boats is directly influenced by our ability to rent these boats for at least one full boating season. What is the 1 Year Extended Motor Warranty in the pricing above? This extended warranty is something that we purchase for you when you purchase one of our rental boats. This leaves you with confidence in the purchase of your used rental boat from us. If anything goes wrong with the motor in the first year, your deductible is only $250. This coupled with our rigorous maintenance schedule leaves you with the confidence you need to buy your next boat with us! You can further extend this warranty for 2 or 3 year for $1,000 or $2,000 respectively.
