GREENWICH GARAGE SALE WEEKEND SATURDAY MAY 18TH

& SUNDAY19TH. The Town & Village of Greenwich will hold its Town Wide

Garage Sale Weekend the week before Memorial Day: May 18th & 19th. This

is the weekend to bring out your treasures and your trash to vend to the public on

your lawns, garages and porches. This event is not a structured sale in any way. It

is self-guided and self-advertised. There are no maps and no ads, except for those

placed by the individuals selling items. However, once dates are designated it

takes on a “life of its own and runs itself”. So get out there and buy or sell and

enjoy the weekend.

Did You Know? The Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant in King Plaza, Kingsbury,is now under new ownership. That’s right. The restaurant isnow known as Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant and Sushi Bar.Ming Jiang and his wife Joey Chen (I am told the Chinesewomen do not take their husband’s surname.) pictured here, purchased the restaurant in March of this year and have pro-ceeded to enhance the Chinese menu and have added a SushiBar!

Both Joey and Jiang came to our coun-try from Fujikiang China, and they bothhave worked in the restaurant trade forover a decade, so you can expect to en-

joy some authentic and well preparedChinese food, whether you sit and eatin the restaurant or to go!

Many improvements have been made in the preparation andpresentation of their menu items. The menu has expanded andthey added a sushi bar! That is correct, a sushi bar..theonly sushi bar in the area! A couple of their offerings arepictured here. The pictures do not do them justice.

The Sushi menu includes• Cucumber or Avacado Roll• California Roll • Shrimp Tempura Roll • Philadelphia Roll• Negihamachi • Tuna Roll • Alaskan Roll • Boston Rol l• Spicy Tuna or Salmon or Yellowtail • Eel Roll Sakekawa Roll• Asahi Roll • Fantasy Roll • Futo Maki • Crunch Spicy Tuna •Sunshine Roll • Crunch Spicy Crabmeat • Sweet Potato • Veg-etable Roll • Oshinko Roll and other specialty items. The Chinese menu is just as extensive and includes:•American Specialties • Appetizers • Soups •Health Dishes

•Chow Meins •Fried Rice •Lo Meins • Sweet & Sour•Egg Foo Young •Moo Shu •Beef, Chicken, Pork • Seafood •Vegetable •Chef specials, plus much more!
