Steering is fast and direct, and it is easy to flick the car into oversteer. The size and weight added over the generations show the Clio is maturing, but it still has its tricks. And these tricks are the Achilles’ heel of the Clio RS: the playfulness comes with a price. Valving of the originally equipped front and rear shock absorbers is out of balance and directly influences the behaviour of the vehicle. KONI SPORT shock absorbers provide a far bigger balance to the car and directly influence the improved body control and handling. Now being a better driveable car, it raises the drivers confidence about the vehicles capabilities: the potential of the little rocket can now actually be used. Not less fun to drive, just another kind of fun. With the KONI SPORT shocks being top adjustable front and rear, the possibility of tailored handling for the fortunate Renault Sport Clio owner is up for grabs.
