AlbumX is the manufacturer of the high-end line of Renaissance Albums. Our albums can be

found in leading professional photography studios worldwide.

AlbumX was founded in 1988. What started as a modest operation grew through bold dreams

and determination. The little company that could, did. Within 5 years, with great thanks to

our distributors, Renaissance became a real contender for studios purchasing a high-end album

product. Renaissance's product reputation for fine albums, fast delivery and friendly service was

already stirring the industry.

By 2000, AlbumX purchased a 65,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Port Chester, New

York - along the Greenwich, CT border near Long Island Sound, 20 miles northeast of New York

City. Luckily, the building was right next door to our old place, so we kept the AlbumX family

intact. 90 percent of Renaissance products are proudly manufactured in this building.

In 2002, AlbumX began a custom digital division featuring the first one-stop professional album

shop offering design, printing, mounting and binding services. Since then, we have been at the

forefront of the digital revolution, actively involved in satisfying photographers' new digital needs.

From traditional to contemporary styled albums, AlbumX remains committed to album innovation

Premium Pages Renaissance introduced premium pages as an upgrade option in 2007, and due to the overwhelming response, we have made it the standard for all SoHo and Mercer Books. Premium pages are a resin-based, high-quality page created to ensure that your Renaissance Album will lie flat and uphold throughout the years.

Thin GapFor the Fine Art and Galleria Albums, Renaissance has narrowed the page gap to an ultra-thin level (approximately 1 mm thin). This improved construction will enable you to create design layouts that will showcase beautifully across our album spreads.

Panoramic PagesRenaissance was one of the first album companies to introduce full-pano spreads in our books for uninterrupted page spread viewing, and we have only improved on the technology and build ever since. Panoramic pages are available in our SoHo and Mercer Books and now feature our Premium Page construction.

Design ServiceOur full-service design team truly sets Renaissance apart from the competition. Whether you are sending us designed files for us to print or submitting selected images for us to design an original album layout from, be assured that our in-house design professionals will meet your highest expectations. We review every file to exacting standards.

PackagingEach custom Renaissance Album is packaged in a cloth pouch and then carefully placed into a hand-crafted black stitch box for the defini-tive presentation. For your most discerning of clients, Renaissance offers a Deluxe Presentation Box, custom made in the same material as your album (some restrictions may apply).

MatsMats for the Galleria Album offer a distinguished presentation. Starting in 2008, Renaissance has expanded its selection of mat top frames and base colors. Additionally, our professional photographers can look forward to the launch of several new sizes (including a horizontal format) for the Galleria Album.
