Remedial Building Technicians (RBT) is derived from 25 plus years of condition assessment, durability analysis, design & speci�cation development and contracting experience in the corrosion/remedial construction industry. COCRETE REPAIR & INJECTION SYSTEMS

Spalling concrete or concrete cancer as it is commonly referred, is the result of corrosion of the steel reinforcing in concrete. The corrosion process derives from a number of conditions that exit in structures due to anticipated cracks and substrate weathering allowing oxygenated water ingress to occur; the main processes are called carbonation or chloride iron attack were the alkaline protection around the steel reinforcing diminishes. Steel expands through the corrosion process, weakening and causing the concrete to breakaway. As the concrete breaks away, it exposes more of the reinforcing bars to the elements therefore accelerating the deterioration process.

WATERPROOFING

Water ingress problems with basement car parks, podium decks, balconies, planter boxes, retaining walls, roof decks, and other specialised structures such as tunnels, silos, bridges and water reservoirs as a cross section, stem form a number of site speci�c conditions such as design faults, inappropriate waterproo�ng systems, poor drainage, ultraviolet degradation, vegetation growth and structure movement including but not limited to structural, thermal and general movement.

Traditional and innovative waterproo�ng systems are used and or designed to suit site-speci�c conditions such as building/structure design, surrounding environmental conditions, and exposure and tra�c wear and tear. Our preparation is a combination of abrasive blasting, water blasting and grinding where necessary. We o�er conventional epoxy �oor coating systems as well as low VOC and acrylic options. If required, we can add slip resistant properties to suit your Workplace Health and Safety needs also.
