Amendment of Personal Particulars

u Please check personal particulars are correctly printed on the results slip and inform Mrs Goh-KML by today if particulars need to be amended.

u There will be an amendment fee of $50.

Registration Process

u Before accessing JAE-IS, must complete the Course Application Worksheet, provided in Form A or in JAE information booklet

u Make full use of the 12 choicesu Will require NRIC or FIN, JAE-Pin (from Form A) or

SingPass u Takes approximately 15 minutes

Posting Results via SMS

uProvide a local mobile phone number during registration if you wish to receive the posting results via SMS

Proper Submission

u Would see a copy of the Verification Slip (VS) online after clicking on <submit> button

u Print Verification Slip and retain a copy of it as proof of course application

Posting Results

uScheduled for release on Tuesday 4 February 2020 through

- JAE-IS (accessible through JAE website)- SMS to Singapore mobile phone number provided by applicant during registration

Direct School admission-Junior College (DSA-JC) Exercise

u Students who had accepted offers through the 2019 DSA-JC Exercise will be admitted to their chosen JC if they have met the eligibility criteria for admission based on their GCE O-Level examination results.

u Students admitted to a JC through DSA-JC will not be eligible to participate in the JAE.

u Students who do not meet the JC admission criteria may take part in JAE to apply for courses they are eligible for.

Early Admission Exercise (EAE)u Students who had accepted conditional offers to a

polytechnic course through EAE in 2019 and have their offers confirmed based on their GCE O-Level examination results will not be eligible to participate in JAE.

u Students who do not meet the above criteria may take part in JAE.

JAE Posting

u To consider your course choices wisely. Posting is based on merit according to your net aggregate scores (taking into account the various bonus points eligible)

u Make use of your 12 choices. Advisable to indicate at least 2-3 courses where your aggregate scores are much better then the previous year’s course cut-off points (COP)

u Appeals for transfer to another JC are not likely to be successful unless you meet the COP of the JC course for that year’s JAE
