Known Issues
This section details the list of issues that remain unresolved in this version.
Installation and Upgrade Issues
Issue ID Issue Description
INS008 If you applied the HOTIFX KB956572, then please remove it before
upgrading to 7.7 or it might cause issues during the upgrade.
INS009 If the server host name contains the character “_” (underscore) then
upgrading the iVIEW license will fail.
INS001
The SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite with internal database cannot
be installed on Windows 2003 64 Bit OS. If you want to install
SCOPIA iVIEW Management on windows 2003 64 bits, please use the
external DB deployment.
INS002
The SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite license for version 7.7 is not
backward compatible with versions 7.1.2 and below. After
upgrading, please contact Customer Support for a new version 7.7
license.
INS003
Microsoft Outlook Add-On version 7.0.1 and lower is not compatible
with SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite version 7.7. After the iVIEW
Suite server is upgraded to version 7.7, all clients must also be
upgraded to version 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.6, 7.7
INS004 After upgrading, verify that the same SCOPIA Desktop H.323 ID is
used for iVIEW Management Suite and SCOPIA Desktop.
INS005
After upgrading, in the SCOPIA Desktop Administrator user interface
under Administrator > Recording > Settings > Policies, verify that
the Allow Virtual rooms and scheduled meetings to be recorded
automatically option is selected.
Note: If you have more than a single SCOPIA Desktop Server in your
deployment, select this option on a single server only.
RADVISION | Release Notes | Rev 0113A SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite | 11
INS006
After upgrading the iVIEW Management Suite server, the Network
Management web user interface applet cached in the web browser
may cause a problem when opening the user interface. Solve this
issue by clearing browser offline data and Java console offline data,
and then rebooting the browser.
INS007
After upgrading the iVIEW Management Suite server, make sure that
the IP address and Maximum Capacity values are correctly configured
under Admin > Resource Management > SCOPIA Desktop for each
defined SCOPIA Desktop Server.
INS014 Please make sure that the DNS is properly configured on the MCU so
that the iVIEW FQDN can be resolved, otherwise, SIP calls will fail.
Deployment Issues
Issue ID Issue Description

domain or address subnet of the devices to the trusted site list.
NMS013 Before downgrading the SCOPIA Gateway for Microsoft Lync software,

UC Related Issues
The following known issues apply to our legacy Microsoft integration for Microsoft OCS
(SCOPIA Connector for Microsoft OCS):
Issue ID Issue Description
UC001 If the OCS client does not answer the Invite request within 30
seconds, the message Failed to join meeting displays in the OCS
client interface.
UC002 OCS client video sessions do not support functionalities such as chat,
invite, or file sending.
UC003 In some cases, the message You are no longer in the meeting
appears on the OCS client even though the meeting is still in
progress.
UC004 SIP TLS is not supported with Microsoft OCS.
UC005 The OCS Tab is not supported anymore in the Microsoft Lync release.
If you are using Microsoft Lync, please consider purchasing a SCOPIA
Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync.
UC010
In order to support dialing in from OCS without a SCOPIA Video
Gateway for Microsoft Lync in the deployment (legacy OCS
connector), you must manually change a configuration file:
File:
C:\Program Files\RADVISION\iVIEW
Suite\iCM\sipserver\conf\UpdatedSIPConfig.xml
RADVISION | Release Notes | Rev 0113A SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite | 14
Under SIPServerApp, change the value of the following parameter
from true to false.
<ReduceOCSSDPSize>false</ReduceOCSSDPSize>
UC011 In order to support OCS integration you must configure a SRV Record
in the DNS for the Microsoft OCS domain.
UC013 Special characters are not supported in the OCS-plugin. As an
example, if your SIP URI contains a non-alphanumeric character you
will get an error when trying to join a meeting.
The following known issues apply to our new integration with Microsoft deployments based
on our SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync:
Issue ID Issue Description
UC012 If you accept a Microsoft Lync call on your personal terminal
(forking) the terminal name and number is not correct in the iVIEW
conference control interface.
UC014
If you have several SCOPIA Video Gateways for Microsoft Lync in your
deployment and if your terminals are registered to a 3rd party
gatekeeper, then we recommend changing the “registered to” field
of your terminal from auto to other so that the best gateway will
always be selected for a call.
The following known issues apply to our integration with IBM Lotus Sametime deployments:
Issue ID Issue Description
UC006 Select Set internet password in the Domino user profile to allow
Domino users to log in to iVIEW Management Suite.
UC007 Single Sign-on (SSO) is not supported for the iVIEW Management Suite
web user interface when working with Lotus Domino.
RADVISION | Release Notes | Rev 0113A SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite | 15
Localization Issues
Issue ID Issue Description
LOC001 The Backup and Restore Tool supports English only in this release.
LOC002 The Redundancy Configuration Tool supports English only in this
release.
LOC003 The OCS client user interface supports English only.
Endpoint Related Issues
Issue ID Issue Description
EP001
Supporting Corporate address book for the LifeSize endpoints have a
number of limitations and requires advanced configuration:
SIP URI dialing strings cannot be displayed properly in the
LifeSize endpoint directory user interface.
EP002 Tandberg C Series endpoints cannot be currently managed by SCOPIA
iVIEW Management Suite. This will be supported in a future
release.
EP004 When configuring a Polycom Telepresence endpoint in the iView,
please ensure that the checkbox "Cameras are cross-connected" is
checked for an optimal experience.
RADVISION | Release Notes | Rev 0113A SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite | 16
EP005 Although you can configure several E.164 addresses for a Tandberg
endpoint, iVIEW will only recognize the first one.
EP006 When you add a SIP Terminal, the checkbox "Telepresence System"
should not be selectable.
EP007 If you add a Telepresence terminal manually and sets its type to
"CISCO CTS", please make sure you also select the checkbox
"Telepresence System".

user interface in a language other than English, you must first install
the relevant fonts on the iVIEW Management Suite server.

Vista Internet Explorer 8 security settings. Refer to the
Administration Guide for SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite for more
information.
MSC029 If a user name contains non-alphanumeric character, it might cause an
error in the iVIEW conference control interface.
MSC030 OUTLOOK: You cannot reschedule a recurring meeting via the
Outlook plug-in if you change the meeting recurrence pattern.
MSC031 When scheduling a meeting from the iVIEW Management Suite web
user interface, the Meeting Organizer will not see the meeting in his
or her own calendar when using Outlook 2007.
MSC032
If you are using Internet Explorer 9, we recommend you add your
domain or address subnet to the trusted site list for best experience.
If not, you might encounter issues when trying to access the device
configuration interface from iVIEW / NMS.
RADVISION | Release Notes | Rev 0113A SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite | 18
MSC033 In a multi-tenant deployment, if both tenants are using the same
LDAP all groups will be listed to all tenants even though they belong
to different OUs
MSC034
In a multi-tenant deployment, if we do not know which organization
the meeting initiation belongs to (example, if it was initiated by an
external endpoint) then it is not possible to launch the SCOPIA
Desktop interface from the conference control GUI., This can be
solved by changing the parameter
(vnex.vcms.core.conference.memberIdRequired) to false
