gRAIN SEgREgATIoN
The receipt process consists of the arrival of grain load at the storage unit, through trucks that unload the product into the hopper, where the grains remain deposited before following the processing flow. The traditional hopper is constructed through deep excavations with high costs and long construction time, to bear a large volume of grains.By using the Combined Chain Conveyors (TCRC) by Kepler Weber it is possible to reduce the excavations, using smaller hoppers, and to remove the grains more quickly, reducing the construction costs. The high capacity TCRCs were developed to offer more agility and versatility, allowing for emptying the hopper quickly and leading the grains to the correct processing, in pre-cleaning machines or segregation silos, ensuring the correct conditions to the sanity and quality of grains.
Grains harvested from the tillage present different moisture and impurity content conditions during harvest. By thinking about this situation, Kepler Weber provides a line of Hopper Bottom Silos of up to 1300 tons of capacity, which may be used to separate grains of different conditions, what enables the receipt of dry and moist product simultaneously, and gives the adequate treatment to grains through the aeration system. The separation permits the rationalization of further processes, such as drying, leading the loads to the dryer with uniform inlet moisture, generating gain of time and drying yield.

The sMarT sTOraGe offers the customers the best solutions to obtain the maximum at their businesses and ensure better results at grain storage.
Each sector of the unit aims to enhance the production in postharvest processes, increasing profits at the trading moment.

PRE-CLEANING PROCESSThe pre-cleaning process is essential to work within the safe limits of impurity content indicated for further drying of grains. The separation of impurities such as straw, soil, corncob and pods enables the uniform grain flow during drying, and improves the operation condition of conveyance equipment and piping, working preventively to premature wear.
ROTARY CLEANING MACHINEThinking about the agility and efficiency in the process, Kepler Weber provides the market with the highest technology in pre-cleaning: the Rotary Cleaning Machine. With models up to 300t/h capacity, the Rotary Cleaning Machine is equipped with a rotary sieve with adjustable tilt and aspiration system after sieving, enabling the separation of impurities of several types of grains, by means of a clean operation with low noise level.
Every detail of the Rotary Cleaning Machine was designed to optimize the operation. The exclusive aspiration system after the sieving presents higher efficiency, using the airflow to separate light impurities from the grain layer which is already free of large impurities, besides the benefit of aspirating the dust generated at the product movement, what makes the operation cleaner. The speed control of the fan enables versatile operation. The systems for quick sieve change and for drum tilt speed up the machine configuration for different conditions and products.
Soybeans harvested early may present high green pod content that may generate loss due to deterioration, if they are stored along with the grains. The Rotary Cleaning Machine is optimal to perform the separation of the soybeans pod quickly and effectively, eliminating these impurities of the grain flow and providing safety to the drying and storage processes.

Seeking more profitable solutions to the process, the KW Dryer line has versatile airflows, with options R (with Cooling) and CIR (Whole Column with Recirculation). The CIR flow enables the use of all dryer power for drying, reducing costs with a process of high energy efficiency, taking the hot grains into the storage silo where the process may be finished.
The separation of the impurities and broken grains after the drying process provides the ideal condition for storage, fostering an efficient aeration. To perform this process, Kepler Weber has, in its portfolio, a line of highly efficient cleaning machines, with technology that provides safety at operation and care for the environment. Through the command system with frequency inverter of the aspiration and warnings of preventive maintenance, the cleaning machines maximize the yield, ensuring an efficient storage and a product with quality.

Drying is the process with greater influence in the profitability and quality of grains at the processing unit. The drying systems by Kepler Weber were designed with focus on the final quality of the grain and energetic efficiency, with its portfolio of KW Dryer products, the highest technology on grain drying. With exclusive drying technology in the market, it provides uniformity and better use of thermal energy, enabling reductions in fuel consumption used in the process, and a new collection system.
Integrating the drying systems, Kepler Weber provides a line of furnaces with mechanized feeding and temperature controlled through the manager command board, which is prepared for the process automation. This technology provides constant generation of thermal energy, rational use of fuel and safe drying.

SAFE SToRAgE
The reliability of the storage system and the correct practices in its management are essential to safely store the grains. The silos by Kepler Weber have technology prepared for the best conservation techniques, preserving the final quality of the grains.
The vent exhaust systems are designed to promote the renewal of inside air, preventing dew formation and preserving the stored grains from losing quality.
Kepler Weber also has, as an optional item, the aeration management and control system, which aims the rational use of energy, the minimization of dry matter loss and the monitoring of the adequate conditions of temperature and moisture of grains.
BENEFITS oF THE coRREcT gRAIN SToRAgE:
1. It preserves the nutritional properties of the grains and their commercial value
2. It keeps the sanity of the mass of grains, avoiding the attack of insects and proliferation of fungi
3. It ensures profitability, preventing loss of weight and dry matter
4. It reduces operational costs with the rational use of electric energy without waste

MoRE SAFETy AT THE INSTALLATIoNS AND oPERATIoN
Always valuing safety, Kepler Weber has aimed to constantly develop the project and its installations. Through the concept of Smart Storage, the company proposes the use of products that enable installations that minimize the enclosed environment and, consequently, reduce the risk of accidents.
Aiming the operator’s safety, the line of agricultural elevators, whose maximum capacities are 600t/h, benefits the accessibility to maintenance, and it may be attached to a metallic tower.
Smart solutions explore the technology in favor of the user. This is how Kepler Weber provides safer operation, having a line of commands constructed with market standard components, with a system prepared to manage each piece of equipment and ready technology to perform the interconnection with the system.
