Birthday Bash!: We’re throwing a week
-long party for you and your friends! It’s
time to send out the invitations, plan the
menu, set up the games, make the favors,
and decorate. This party is going to be “off

madness. Our camp contestants will
square off in tests of skill, brain power,
teamwork and creativity. Will you win the

The Big Leagues: Lace up your sneakers,
put in your mouthpiece, and let the games
begin! Our campers will hit it out of the park
as we enjoy America’s favorite sporting
pastimes. The ball is in your court- are you

Shark Mania!: It’s the week of the shark!
Hitch a ride on the Compass submarine as we
explore the deep in search of the King of the
Ocean. We’ll play shark games, learn shark
facts, make a giant shark sculpture, & film our
own shark movie. The water is warm, dive in!
Tentative Field Trip: Rivershore Cruise + Atlantis Waterpark
Icicle Express: All aboard for a polar
adventure that’s sure to help us beat the
summer heat! We’ll go skating, enjoy frozen
treats, make snow globes & build ice sculptures.
No doubt, we’ll be the coolest kids in town!

Symphony of Colors: It’s time to get
your paint on! Our budding artists will show
their true colors as they express themselves

CompassQuest 2018 Summer Camp Program Welcome to CompassQuest 2018, the Summer Camp program for The Compass School. This program is designed for children who have completed Kindergarten through the age of 12. Each weekly theme will offer a unique exploration, with arts & crafts, food, games, and more. What could be more fun than weekly visits to the swimming pool or mini golf with your friends as well as entertaining field trips related to the theme-of-the-week? We’ll also enjoy guest speakers, shows, recreation, sports, and more. Looking for a fun and exciting way to spend your summer? The CompassQuest 2018 Summer Camp program is the place to be!
Your Camp Headquarters: The Think Tank classroom will be transformed into Summer Camp Headquarters. Recreational options include Foosball, table games, and more. Our playground offers unique climbing equipment, water play, a basketball hoop, open spaces for sports, and a garden area. Our Camp is your ticket to summer fun!
Tentative Field Trips: The following field trips are planned for this summer, to coincide with weekly CompassQuest 2018 themes: Laser Tag, Atlantis Waterpark, WARF Aquatic Center, Aquia Landing, Blue Ridge Wildlife Show, Air & Space Museum, Kid’s Choice Sports Center, Chantilly Planetarium, Volcano Island Waterpark, Putt Putt Golf, Haymarket Iceplex, Pirate’s Cover Waterpark, Rivershore Cruise, FedEx Field Tour, ice cream parlor, color run, robotics class, swimming, parks, mobile art class & more!
Program Tuition Information: New enrollments to The Compass School are responsible for a $75 registration fee with application. A two week deposit and payment of activity fees is also required to reserve a space. Camp tuition is $230 a week. A $200 camp fee (for all 11 weeks) that covers field trips and activities for the entire summer is due upon registration. If only enrolling in select weeks, the camp fee is $20 per week. Camp schedules run from 8:30AM to 4:30PM daily, with extended day enrichment available at no additional cost (school hours 6:30AM to 6:30PM daily). Campers will also be required to purchase a camp t-shirt for field trips. Activity fees are non-refundable.
