About Us
Shri Vinoba Bhave College of Nursing, Silvassa is one of its only kind in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli standby, contributing towards the upliftment of tribal girls through nursing education from10 years. We started our journey in the year 2008 as School of Nursing and we have gradually grown and flourished as College of Nursing in the year 2013. The institution has previously organized the National Conference on “Protecting Women and Children Health through Proactive Nursing” in the year 2014. Paving another milestone in the journey of success, we are organizing our first International Conference in Critical Care Nursing.
Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa is a 316 bedded hospital,which caters the health needs of population in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and surrounding areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The Hospital will be soon upgraded to 500 bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital.
The U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is located on the western side of the foothills of Western Ghat and has an undulating terrain, 40% of the total geographical area is covered with forest and thus offers a look of woodland. The major river Damanganga and its tributaries crisscross the U.T. and drain into Arabian sea in Daman.

About Conference
Engaging the global community to address health disparities for the critically ill and the injured is essential for promoting optimal patient outcomes. As critical care is one of the fastest growing hospital specialties, addressing these issues in underserved areas becomes crucial. Health care professionals in Intensive Care Unit must possess specialized knowledge and exhibit competency in managing critically ill clients. Thus in order to improve the competency and quality of the care provided to the critically ill clients, the institution has designed an International Conference on “Critical Care Nursing”.
¯ Provide an international platform to the Health Care Professionals to explore their managerial and administrative skills

¯ Integrate, update and enhance the knowledge, skill & abilities of the health care professionals working in the critical care areas
¯ Dispense hands-on training to manage emergency conditions
¯ Discuss the issues and challenges as well as evidence-based practices relevant to critical care
¯ Acknowledge and appreciate the research activities in critical care in the form of scientific paper and poster presentation
Two best papers (oral & poster) will be awarded.

¯ Scientific and Practice-based abstracts on topics relevant to the theme of the conference are invited
¯ Only registered delegates are eligible to present a paper
¯ The abstract material can be mailed to the conference e-mail ID (with amaximum of 500 words in IMRD format) on or before 10/11/2018
¯ The time allotted for the presentation is 10 minutes including 3-minute discussion with a maximum of 10 to 15 slides in PPT format.
¯ Only registered delegates are eligible to present e- Poster
¯ All e-Posters should be prepared in IMRD format and in English
¯ Layout: Portrait (Vertical Orientation)¯ Size of Poster: Pixels:The minimum recommended size
