AP & HONORS 1. AP Course Descriptions
Talk to the teacher before you sign up for an AP class.
AP Course Descriptions will be posted on the wall in your Language Arts and History class, and will also be available in the College and Career Center Room J-1 and online on our Guidance website page.
2. Honors/AP Contract
Must be signed by parent and student before being placed in a class.
Students will not be allowed to drop after the last day of school, unless the “Action Plan for Success” was completed.
Keep in mind that the “Action Plan for Success” will not be reviewed until the end of the 1st semester.

Renaissance
A class similar to ASB, but activities will focus on academics. Raise your hand if you would like an application. Please see Mrs. Gressley-Enger in room H-5 for more information on the class.
ASB
If you are interested in being a leader on campus, ASB is the class for you. You can find the application on the school’s web-site. Application must be turned into the student store.
Unity
A class focused on developing leaders on campus to improve race relations and deal with social issues. If interested see Ms. Tran in the Administration office for an application.
Choir
Mrs. Eden is recruiting for choir. If you like to sing, please sign up.
Journalism
If you are interested in taking this class and want more information, see Mrs. Shieh in room F-4.
Photography
Keep in mind that the photography class is a film course which might transition to digital.

PE Requirement and Exemption
All 11th graders must have the “Two-Year Exemptions” & “Permanent Exemptions” forms signed by parent or else you will need to take the PE requirement – new state law. This includes students who are taking PE as a sport.
