THE NMTC INDUSTRY’S PRIMARY BUSINESS HUB REOPENS THIS FALL IN CHICAGO–and we’ve curated a new and improved educational and networking experience for every level of practitioner. Here’s an inside
look at what’s in store for the upcoming Novogradac New Markets Tax Credit Conference:
Learn how to implement current trends and innovations for the upcoming year. We revamped our agenda to feature more interactive sessions and case studies, as well as a boot camp panel for QALICBs. Find out what innovative techniques the industry’s leaders are using, cost-effective strategies to managing a NMTC investment and how to overcome pitfalls and challenges.
What’s next for the program? Sit down with Bob Ibanez, CDFI Fund program manager, and Brad Elpick, conference chairman and partner at Novogradac & Company LLP, followed by an update from Michael Novogradac and other experts on program permanency legislation moving through Congress.
Peer-to-peer networking. Face-to-face interaction is vital to driving activity in the NMTC industry. We expanded our networking format to facilitate more deal-making opportunities. Connect during our breaks, exhibit hall, luncheon, private meeting rooms and reception, as well as our new learning groups.
Interactive training workshops. Full-day workshops NMTC 101: The Basics and NMTC 201: Advanced NMTC Concepts are offered Tuesday, Oct. 20. The new interactive format of NMTC 101 debuted to rave reviews last June.
