Refugees & IDPs in 2030 Agenda

•  Ambitious commitment to leave no one behind. •  SDG declaration recognizes “refugees and internally displaced

persons and migrants” as amongst the vulnerable groups. •  It encourages effective measures to meet the needs of “people

living in areas affected by complex humanitarian emergencies” (A/RES/70/1par.23).

•  The New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants calls for enhanced international cooperation to improve data collection on refugees, including to assess economic impact.

•  Global Compact for Refugees promotes inclusion of refugees in national systems, including statistical systems.
