SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2021 “PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY” Praise to the Lord the Almighty, the King of Creation! O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near, join me in glad adoration! Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth, Shelters thee under His wings, yes, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen how all thy longings have been granted in what He ordaineth? Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee. Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew, what the Almighty can do, if with His love He befriend thee. Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath come now with praises before Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again, gladly forever adore Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again, gladly forever adore Him! “GOD, THE UNCREATED ONE” God the uncreated One, the Author of salvation, who wrote the laws of space and time, and fashioned worlds to His design. The One whom angel hosts revere, hung the stars like chandeliers, numbered every grain of sand, knows the heart of every man. He is King forever, He is King forever, He is King forevermore. God our fortress and our strength, the Rock on which we can depend, Matchless in His majesty, His power and authority, unshaken by the schemes of man, never-changing, great I AM. Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall, He is faithful through it all. Crown Him King forever, crown Him King forever, crown Him King forevermore. Mighty God in mortal flesh, forsaken by a traitor’s kiss, the curse of sin and centuries did pierce the lowly Prince of Peace. Oh, lifted high, the sinless man, crucified, the spotless Lamb, buried by the sons of man, rescued by the Father’s hand to reign as King forever, reign as King forever, reign as King forevermore. King Eternal, God of Grace, we crown you with the highest praise. Heaven shouts and saints adore, “You’re holy, holy, holy, Lord!” What joy in everlasting life, all is love and faith is sight. Justice rolls and praises rise at the Name of Jesus Christ. King of kings forever, King of kings forever, King of kings forevermore! King of kings forever, King of kings forever, King of kings forevermore!

Page 9: Reflect Upon Death (5-6)

“O GREAT REDEEMER” Eternal King, enthroned in light, the heavens bow at Your command. You rule the world in pow’r and might, yet grieve the fallen state of man. Immortal hands becoming flesh reach out to pay the sinner’s price, to bear the punishment of death, one pure atoning sacrifice. O Great Redeemer, O the power of Your name. O Mighty Warrior, Strong to Save, worthy the Lamb for sinners slain. O Great Redeemer The mystery of grace unfolds. The blood of Christ now covers us, and darkness trembles to behold the Risen King, victorious! O Great Redeemer, O the power of Your name. O Mighty Warrior, Strong to Save, worthy the Lamb for sinners slain. O Great Redeemer O Great Redeemer O Great Redeemer, O the power of Your name. O Mighty Warrior, Strong to Save, worthy the Lamb for sinners slain. Worthy the Lamb for sinners slain. Worthy the Lamb for sinners slain. O Great Redeemer O Great Redeemer

“COME PRAISE AND GLORIFY” Come praise and glorify our God, the Father of our Lord. In Christ He has in heav’nly realms, His blessings on us poured. For pure and blameless in His sight He destined us to be, and now we’ve been adopted through His Son eternally. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, who gives His grace in Christ. In Him our sins are washed away, redeemed through sacrifice. In Him God has made known to us the myst’ry of His will, that Christ should be the Head of all, His purpose to fulfill. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, for we’ve believed the Word, and through our faith we have a seal, the Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit guarantees our hope until redemption’s done, until we join in endless praise to God, the Three in One. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves.

ANTHEM “WHEN I THINK ABOUT THE LORD” When I think about the Lord, how He saved me, how He raised me, how He filled me with the Holy Ghost, how He healed me to the uttermost, when I think about the Lord, how He picked me up and turned me around, how He placed my feet on solid ground, It makes me wanna shout, “Hallelujah, thank You, Jesus! Lord, You’re worthy of all the glory, and all the honor, and all the praise!” It makes me wanna shout, “Hallelujah, thank You, Jesus! Lord, You’re worthy of all the glory, and all the honor, and all the praise!” When I think about the Lord, how He saved me, how He raised me, how He filled me with the Holy Ghost, how He healed me to the uttermost, when I think about the Lord, how He picked me up and turned me around, how He placed my feet on solid ground, It makes me wanna shout, “Hallelujah, thank You, Jesus! Lord, You’re worthy of all the glory, and all the honor, and all the praise!” It makes me wanna shout!

“THE LORD OUR GOD” (Chorus) The Lord our God is ever faithful, never changing through the ages. From this darkness You will lead us. And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!” In the silence, in the waiting, still we can know You are good. All Your plans are for Your glory. Yes, we can know You are good. Yes, we can know You are good. (Chorus) The Lord our God is ever faithful, never changing through the ages. From this darkness You will lead us. And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!” (Chorus) The Lord our God is ever faithful, never changing through the ages. From this darkness You will lead us. And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!” And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!” And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!” INVITATION “MY HOPE IS IN THE LORD” My hope is in the Lord who gave Himself for me, and paid the price of all my sin at Calvary. (Chorus) For me He died, for me He lives, and everlasting life and light He freely gives. No merit of my own His anger to suppress, my only hope is found in Jesus’ righteousness. (Chorus) For me He died, for me He lives, and everlasting life and light He freely gives. And now for me He stands before the Father’s throne, He shows His wounded hands, and names me as His own. (Chorus) For me He died, for me He lives, and everlasting life and light He freely gives. His grace has planned it all, ‘tis mine but to believe, and recognize His work of love, and Christ receive. (Chorus) For me He died, for me He lives, and everlasting life and light He freely gives.

OFFERTORY “THE POWER OF THE CROSS” Oh, to see the dawn of the darkest day, Christ on the road to Calvary, tried by sinful men, torn and beaten, then nailed to a cross of wood. Oh, to see the pain written on Your face, bearing the awesome weight of sin, every bitter thought, every evil deed crowning Your bloodstained brow. (Chorus) This, the pow’r of the cross, Christ became sin for us, took the blame, bore the wrath. We stand forgiven at the cross. Now the daylight flees, now the ground beneath quakes as its Maker bows His head. Curtain torn in two, dead are raised to life, ‘Finished!’ the vict’ry cry. (Chorus) This, the pow’r of the cross, Christ became sin for us, took the blame, bore the wrath. We stand forgiven at the cross. Oh, to see my name written in the wounds, for through Your suffering I am free. Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live, won through Your selfless love. This, the power of the cross, Son of God, slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross. BENEDICTION “THE LORD OUR GOD” (Chorus) The Lord our God is ever faithful, never changing through the ages. From this darkness You will lead us. And forever we will say, “You’re the Lord our God!”
